There are a million reasons I wasn’t thrilled to spend a week in the hospital this month, but one of the biggest was not being able to shoot with Nate for a handful of sessions (and two weddings, boo!)

But he totally stepped up to the plate and I’m so proud of what he did without me… If the situation was reversed, I’d cry! One of the sessions I was heartbroken to miss was Liam and Maddie’s. This is our gagillionth session with this family- Ok, maybe just the 6th or 7th, but these “Root Lifers” have such a special place in our hearts… I’ve gotten to see Liam grow! The photo on the left was from our first shoot with him, the one on the right was last year’s…

… And now he’s sooooo grown up! I can’t stand it.

 

Lindsay, Eric, Maddie, and Liam, I’ll be there next year with bells on!!!
