This adorable German couple came to the states for their first ever Walt Disney World trip! We met them for their engagement session and were greeted with the warmest smiles and heartfelt gifts and we’re so thrilled to have them as part of our Root Photography family! <3 Every email from Katharina puts a smile on our faces. She’s one of our newest brides but already bringing us so much joy from the other side of the world. :)

We’ve had to cancel so many sessions lately because of hurricane season storms, so we were extra thrilled that our first session in a while brought the most beautiful light with it!

Happy New Year, lovelies!!!

I’m so excited for the big things we have planned for 2016. So excited, in fact, that Nate and I spent most of New Year’s Eve writing out the text for our new website. Tooooootally normal, right? ;)

We’re looking forward to sharing more from Kate and Conor’s wedding soon, but before I do, here are some teaser photos! It’s always been a dream of mine to photograph at the Memphis Peabody Hotel, a place that played such a big part in my childhood! Between that and our couple’s church being right next door to my high school, it made my heart so happy to end the year with a hometown wedding.
