Tanya + Tara : Orlando Florida Portrait Session

Tanya and Tara were in the wedding party of one of my faaaaaaavorite weddings last year, one I sadly had to miss! Lindsey and Jackie gifted Tanya and Tara a mini-session with us in December. They have comically bad stories about photographers they’ve hired in the past. As much as we hate (ok, and *occasionally* enjoy) hearing these stories, I love when we’re the ones to break the bad photography luck streak! Tanya and Tara, thank you so much for meeting up with us last year. I hope it wasn’t too painful! ;)

Alexis + Rich : Orlando Florida Wedding Photographer

Alexis and Rich take bi-yearly trips to Walt Disney World with best friends for Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival, so it only made sense for their wedding to take place then, too! They both love photography but are hardly in photos together.

This was one of the happiest, most colorful weddings we’ve ever been a part of. Alexis was completely inspired by Erin and Rick’s colorful wedding (read about that one here!), and used a lot of the same simple elements to make a big, colorful impact, like the tissue paper pom poms and streamer exit. :)

And this little girl… I’ve never seen a more eagerly helpful attendant!!

Loved their first look with their sweet flower girl looking on! :)

Yes, those would be bouquets made out of recycled Walt Disney World park maps!

I looooooooove when family members get ordained to perform wedding ceremonies. Doesn’t get more personal and heartfelt than that! :)

Deanna + Michael : Disney Cruise Line Wedding Preview

It’s so rare we get to photograph cruise line weddings, and this one even happened to take place on my favorite boat! Such a Dream. <3

Deanna and Michael and 60 of their nearest and dearest cruised together to celebrate their wedding. Deanna is no stranger to the Disney Cruise Line- When I asked her how many times she’s sailed, she said she lost count! We loved this whole group and couldn’t be happier to have Deanna and Michael join our Root Photography family. <3
