Katharina + Erhard : Epcot Canada Wedding

These two. <3

Katharina and Erhard came all the way from Germany for their Epcot Canada wedding! Two of the sweetest people we’ve met, on their engagement session they brought two mugs Katharina made for us inspired by Carl and Ellie’s mailbox. On their wedding day, they hand wrote thank you notes to each vendor, and sent us home with two huge beer steins filled with German candy. Even on her wedding day, Katharina was thinking of everyone around her, and it’s so easy to see why Erhard fell in love with her.

Their wedding day was so sweet and intimate, the only guest in attendance was their best friend, Jenny. Epcot weddings are always super special… There’s nothing like an empty park to yourself to amplify the adrenaline for your wedding! Every detail of their day was so thought out and perfectly executed, from Katharina’s bouquet she handmade herself to the tear-inducing “Ellie badge” moment during the ceremony, to their first dance. Did I mention these two would give the pros from “Dancing with the Stars” a run for their money?! I think my favorite moment was at the finale of Illuminations- We’d run them around for different vantage points for the fireworks, when in the last 10 seconds, they spontaneously started dancing and ended in the perfect pose at the final “boom” of the fireworks.

Katharina and Erhard, we love y’all so much and are so thankful for our new friendship. We so hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them! :)

And a very special thanks to the vendor team who made this wedding a dream! Kalie from About Face, our fairy godmother officiant Renee Silverman, Beyond Videography, and of course, Nicole from Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings- We couldn’t have done it without y’all! <3

The only thing better than connecting rooms? Suites! We love that Erhard got ready in one bedroom and Katharina in the other. <3

I love that I was randomly playing with these books for photos with Katharina’s amaaaazing bouquet, when she told me Pride and Prejudice happens to be her favorite novel! Happy accidents are the best kind. :)

Sophia : Downtown Orlando Sweet 16

Oh, to be sixteen and this gorgeous! Sophia is the beautiful daughter of our friend and make-up artist extraordinaire, Patricia LeJeune of LeJeune Artistry! Such an honor to grab photos of Sophia and her best friend before their party at the Grand Bohemian. Sophia, it was an absolute pleasure- Happy birthday! <3

Radcliff Family : Celebration Florida Family Session Photographer

Jennifer has followed this blog for years and once even spotted us in the Boardwalk Inn lobby before a wedding. I was so happy she came to say hi, but even happier when after a couple years of trying to match dates for a family session with us, we were finally able to make it work last year! <3 December sessions are some of my favorites. The weather is gorgeous, most of our photo locations are all decorated… Can it please be Christmastime again already?!

Jennifer, we absolutely loved meeting you and your sweet girls. Thank you so much and we hope to do it again someday!! :)

Jackie + Chris : Orlando, Florida Wedding

We were so excited when Jackie and Chris asked us to photograph their day!

A Disney weddings “Dream Team” was on hand with Tyler of Beyond Videography by our side and Carol, one of our favorite DFTW planners leading the day! When we learned Jackie and Chris also dressed up as Lilo and Stitch for Halloween one year, we knew we’d be a great match! <3

We showed up to a villa at the Boardwalk Inn to capture Jackie and her girls getting ready. Nate and I love to ease into wedding day photos by starting with photographing our couple’s wedding details. My favorite thing to photograph lately is wedding rings! We’ve had more and more couples keeping these in the bride’s room when we get there so I can get a variety of photos in natural light before the ceremony. :) It also gives me more time to play with the rings on some personal items, like invitations or other trinkets like this- a drawing by one of Jackie’s bridesmaids!

Jackie’s mother and maid-of-honor got her dressed, and then we headed out to the porch for a little “bridesmaid first-look.” So sweet! <3

Richard is just as much a part of the Grand Floridian to me as the grand staircase! <3

The best “train conductor” there ever was! <3

Loooooooove! <3 The groom played tennis at Brown University and I believe they’re doing tennisy things here!

How do you get two shy flower girls to bolt down the aisle? Bribe them by holding out juice pouches! <3

Oh, yeah- Jackie SANG her way down the aisle!! It was amazing!

I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s common for unique things to come in two’s at our weddings. This week, we had two amazing choreographed first dances! You couldn’t even see them mouthing out “One two three, one two three!” This first photo is one I got of them practicing their first dance in their empty reception before guests came in…

… And then Nate grabbed these during their actual first dance! :)

I’ve never cried so much during a wedding toast!!! Jackie’s sweet college roommate was able to work in Snape’s “Always” into the end of her wedding toast. Cue my Hufflepuff tears!! :)

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch a dance-y reception!!! :)

Bahahahahahahhahaha. <3
