Rachael + Don : Boardwalk Inn Wedding and Contemporary Resort Reception

She’s a teacher, he’s in retail. They brought their family and friends from Vancouver Island to Orlando for their wedding, and brought some gorgeous weather with them!

There were so many things I loved about their wedding, the biggest being that Rachael’s only “theme” was happiness! The cheery yellow bridesmaid dresses, floral popping with color (I don’t think I’ve ever seen Sea Breeze Point so happy!), special guests of the rodent variety at their reception, and Magic Kingdom fireworks at the end of the night all brought this sweet dream of a wedding to life.

Chrissy + Crit : Boardwalk Inn Wedding

What’s that? A full blog post just two days after our most recent wedding? Ok! <3

This fourth grade teacher and archivist met online. Crit’s first trip to Walt Disney World was with Chrissy, where he popped the question. What better place to get married than in this special place, turning their wedding into a big family vacation? :)

Everything about this day was perfect, from the freakishly-beautiful April weather (seriously, Orlando- This year has been amazing!) to Chrissy’s ensemble. I loved her lace sleeves and succulent bouquet, making her look so ethereal. They couldn’t have been sweeter or their families kinder; it was the most perfect day to kick off wedding season!

Ready to swoon? When it was Crit’s turn for his vows, he started by telling us his “favorite napkin story,” because who doesn’t have one of those, right? ;) Well, Crit was out to dinner with a friend shortly after he and Chrissy started dating, and was telling his friend about how smitten he was. His friend pushed a little further, asking flat-out if Crit thinks Chrissy is the girl he wants to marry. Crit said yes, and his friend pulled out a napkin and wrote :

Crit decided he was going to marry Chrissy!

And then signed it. Crit kept that napkin for six years, knowing it could come in handy some day, particularly on his wedding day. Chrissy never even knew about the napkin until he pulled it out from his pocket. So. stinking. sweet. <3

Chrissy and Crit, it was an absolute honor. Enjoy the rest of your honeymoon!!! :)

Shortly after their ceremony, a stranger walking by handed the newlyweds this gift card! How random and cool is that?!

Juliana + Ryan : Wedding at The Manor in West Orange, NJ

We met Juliana when she was a bridesmaid in her sister’s Disney wedding. Gina’s wedding was one we’ll never forget, from our showing up to the Grand Floridian in a tornado warning (it poured so hard we couldn’t even see the Wedding Pavilion!), to the end of the night where Gina was running and sliding across the dance floor in her wedding gown, LOL! There is NO better feeling than when the brother or sister of a bride books us for their wedding- It’s so fun showing up to the next wedding as old friends. <3

Then and now with Princess Summer. I only just noticed how similar their flowers were! <3

The flower girl dresses were handmade by Juliana’s mom to look like hers. I was in awe! :)

I loved that Juliana’s robe matched her wedding programs!!

Juliana and Ryan actually met at this little one’s baby shower!

This little warrior. <3 Summer was diagnosed with pediatric liver cancer when she was born and has undergone a roller coaster of surgeries and treatments all with a smile on her face. Juliana entered Summer in our portrait giveaway last year and she won, so hopefully we’ll get more quality time with this brave little girl soon. BEST moment from the wedding day? This duo!! We all died when the ring bearer proceeded to pick a flower off the ground and hold it in his mouth!! :)
