Katie + Shane : Wedding at the Grand Floridian’s Wedding Pavilion and Whitehall Room

July 19, 2019 by Jensey Leave a Comment

Katie was a freshman and Shane a senior when they met in their high school’s drama club. After Shane graduated college, he moved back to the area, reconnected with Katie, and the rest is history!

Born in Melbourne but raised in Pennsylvania, Katie remains a Florida girl at heart with a strong love for Disney. It was after their first trip here together that a Disney wedding seemed inevitable, and after 3 long years of saving every penny possible, their dream came true.

It’s always special seeing a bride enter the Wedding Pavilion when we know it’s been her dreams forever, but Katie had never gotten the chance to see her dream venue in person! I could feel her goosebumps when her wedding planner opened the doors to the chapel and she started her walk down the aisle! :)

Huge thanks to our friendor team for making this such a great day!!

We set our alarms for 4:30am for Katie’s day. This sunrise made the eye bags so worth it. <3

Best thing about Disney weddings? The reactions when my favorite rodents arrive! <3

We met back up that night for their Illuminations dessert party! Only two more of these for us before this show ends and I’m already crying just thinking about it!

Katie and Shane, thank you SO much for having us!!! Happy honeymoon!!!! <3

Rachel + Rhys : Summer Wedding at Disney’s Sea Breeze Point

July 12, 2019 by Jensey 1 Comment

Without a doubt, one of my top 5 favorite meet cutes I’ve ever heard: Rachel hired Rhys to be her ski instructor for a week. Lessons turned to coffee, coffee turned to dinner, and before they knew it, they were in love. <3
Rhys proposed to Rachel where else?! On top of a snowy mountaintop! Rachel said she was *terrified* to drop the ring in the snow and lose it forever! But fear not- The ring made it home and Rachel planned her dream wedding across the pond in Walt Disney World. That’s right- They got engaged in the snow and married on one of the hottest summer days we’ve ever photographed! :)
Wedding Planner :  Hannah from Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons
Venue : Sea Breeze Point at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
Floral and Cake : Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons
Officiant : Katherine T. Imundi
Hair & Makeup : Beaute Speciale

Wedding Dress : Justin Alexander, Mikado Box Pleat Ball Gown with Beaded Illusion Square Cut Back, Style 8937. From Anna McDonald Bridal Gallery, Thame, UK.

Groom and Groomsmen Suits/Tuxes : Torre Royal Blue morning suit from Dobell

Their ceremony took place at Sea Breeze Point at Disney’s Boardwalk! :)

Every ceremony should end with a pinky promise. <3

Rachel and Rhys, thank you for letting us be a part of your daaaay!! <3

Robin + Eric : Romantic Wedding at Walt Disney World

June 28, 2019 by Jensey 1 Comment

Even before officially booking her date with Disney, Robin reached out and asked us to be her wedding photographers! :)

It seemed like everyone we spoke with at the wedding was in agreement that these two are a perfect fit. One of the first conversations Robin and Eric had was the fact that their kids shared the same name- Cameron and Kamren! Now that they’re a family, they go by Cam and Kami to save some confusion. :)

Some of my favorite things about their wedding day: KIDS GALORE! There was no lack of laughter, that’s for sure! Robin had not one but TWO stunning gowns and I’m so hoping this continues to be a trend for our Root brides! ;)
