Megan + Trent : Orlando Destination Wedding at the Grand Floridian Resort

May 13, 2019 by Jensey 1 Comment

They became best friends immediately after meeting and bonding over Disney, and then dated soon after. There was never a question of where they’d get married- Megan even kept a note from Trent early on that talks about maybe having a Disney wedding in their future! :)

If this wasn’t enough to make you love these two, Megan worked at Journey Into Imagination with Figment, and we got to swap a few crazy guest stories from our time as cast members!

Thank you to this vendor team for making it a lovely one! :)

Venues: Ceremony at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion followed by a reception in a Grand Floridian Ballroom

Planner : Kristie from Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons

Officiant: Megan’s pastor from home, Jerry Ingalls

Hair & Makeup: Kristi Nash and Tricia Koger from home!

DJ/Band: Steve W

Videographer: Trinity Wedding Cinema

Floral Designer: Disney

Bride’s Dress Designer, Style, and Boutique:

Ceremony Dress – Martin Thronburg/Madeline Gardner from Eva’s Bridal International (in Chicago)

Reception Dress – Madeline Gardner from Brides & Beyond (in Ohio)

Bridesmaids Dresses: Azazie

Groom and Groomsmen Suits/Tuxes: Michael Kors

I love a dress with sleeves! <3 <3
Still in love with these bridesmaids!! :)
This first look <3 < 3 <3 Immediately after their first look, Megan’s pastor came out to pray over her, Trent, and their parents. <3 When your best man is your twin brother! ;) For those of you worried that your groom won’t be emotional when you walk down the aisle if you do a first look… ;) Getting married during lovebug season in Florida means you might have some friends join you! :) Favorite. <3   After the wedding, Nate met them at the Boardwalk Inn for a few more just-married photos! :)

Megan and Trent, thank y’all for everything- We wish you the very best!!!! :)

Vanessa + Brian : Orlando Wedding Photographers

May 12, 2019 by Jensey 1 Comment

Haaaaaaaappy Mother’s Day, friends!!!

I (incredibly selfishly) love this day because I love seeing our brides and grooms sharing our photos of them with their parents on their wedding day! :) Today is *extra* special because it’s Ollie’s 2nd birthday, but I’ll share more about that later- Today is Vanessa and Brian’s wedding preview post. Which makes me immensely happy because Vanessa is an amazing Mama to her little, Ryder! <3

Thank you to our vendor team for making this such an amazing day! :)

Venues : Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and American Adventure Rotunda
Wedding Planner: Elizabeth
Officiant: Kevin Knox
Hair & Makeup: A Touch of Fierce
Videographer: Trinity Wedding Cinema
Dress: Allure Bridal from Town Shop Bridal in Poughkeepsie, NY
Bridesmaid Dresses: Kleinfeld Bridal

These photos were on Vanessa’s bouquet to remember her grandmother. She loved Disney and we learned she was quite the spitfire! <3Favorite shot of the day- Nate took this of Brian and Ryder’s shoes. <3 Vanessa and her girls got ready in a ballroom at the Yacht and Beach Club Convention Center. I looooooved this space, because there was plenty of room for her girls to spread out, but there was also this long hallway with gorgeous window light so we could pop out and shoot details, and even get Vanessa dressed! Father daughter first look. <3Not pictured : The utter confusion when Vanessa saw her wedding gift from Brian was a pair of Vans, lol! This was when she opened the box and saw they’d been hand painted with her favorite Disney things. <3 LOOK. AT. THIS. FAMILY. PHOTO. <3 Vanessa surprised her *Dad* with a ride in Cinderella’s Coach and his reaction was precious!Don’t let their small size fool you. ;) Off to the American Adventure Rotunda for their reception- My favorite space! <3 Vanessa’s choreographed dance to “My Girl” with her father gave me all the feels…But so did Brian’s dance with his mom to “You’ll Be in my Heart.” Vanessa, Brian, and Ryder- Thank you for having us along for the ride. And happy Mother’s Day, Vanessa!!! :)

Rachael + Matt : California Grill Wedding Reception and Epcot Dessert Party (Wedding Part II)

September 15, 2016 by Jensey 1 Comment

Before you read this, make sure you’ve read Rachael and Matt’s Wedding Part One!!!

Epcot wedding days are early wedding days. Most of our brides pull all-nighters before their wedding, because they’re drunk on wedding magic, pixie dust, and adrenaline! Well, that and their hair and make up team is showing up at 3am. ;)

We tend to set our alarms for 4am to start our day, get back home to take a nap after lunch, download cards, feed Huck, and head out for the dessert party. It’s not uncommon for me to wistfully tell Nate how amazing it’d be to have a room at the resort we finished at so we could just walk to our room and crash! Well, imagine my surprise when we left Rachael’s wedding and Nate pulled the car into the Boardwalk to valet! He told me he made lunch reservations (which I was a little peeved about because I just wanted to go home and sleep!!), but we checked in to our room instead. <3

It was so fun to just walk into the back entrance of Epcot a little early for the dessert party, grab a drink at the Rose and Crown, and shoot some fireworks!

But back to the wedding. ;) Their reception took place at the California Grill, probably my favorite Disney reception spot! I can never get enough of all that natural light and that view of my favorite park.

Rachael and Matt love dinosaurs. Like, LOVE dinosaurs. Rachael painted a bunch of little gold dinos to sprinkle around their tables, and she and Matt entered their reception to the Jurassic Park theme song! :) Rachael’s favorite movie is The Good Dinosaur, and their cake was themed to Pixar’s “Lava” short with characters from The Good Dinosaur around it. Juuuuuuust wait for the photos, y’all. <3

SO much love for this wedding. ENJOY!!!!!!

Kicking things off with my favorite ring shot of the year so far, a la Nate’s camera magic! <3

That you’re here with me and I’m here with you
I wish that the earth, sea, the sky up above-a
Will send me someone to lava!”
