Theresa + Alex : Disney Fairy Tale Wedding

October 8, 2021 by Jensey Leave a Comment

Social media is definitely my weakest link. When we’re in our slow season I’m GREAT about consistent posting, blogging within a week of a wedding, and replying back to everyone! But the busier we are behind the scenes, the quieter we often are online. Needless to say, I’ve been falling waaaaay behind on Instagram and Facebook but we’re definitely working feverishly to stay on top of wedding edits and gallery deliveries!!

I still have some 2020 weddings I haven’t gotten around to so I’ll be mixing up my timeline a bit on here to help with the backlog. Theresa and Alex have already been married for one MONTH and I’m so excited to share some of our favorite moments!! I’ll most remember how joyful Alex was from start to finish. Just waaaaaait until you see their first look! <3

I cry at almost *every* father daughter first look lately!!

I MEAN. <3 <3

Sometimes the best photos come when things *don’t* go as planned- Like when Alex was determined to make this unity candle light no matter what! :)

Instead of a bouquet and garter toss, they opted for a Mickey and Minnie toss! The guests loved it. <3

When their reception was over, we dragged our gear through 6″ puddles and pouring rain to book it to their private patio for their dessert party. As we were running to the venue, the music started and the show started 10 minutes early! We set up lights in the rain and waited for Theresa and Alex… and waited and waited… and waited! They came RUNNING up in ponchos literally during the last 15 seconds of the show, tossed their rain gear, and the rain stopped almost immediately. I’m so glad they made it JUST In time and we were able to get some beautiful photos!!

I remember every dessert party in the pouring rain and this one will be no different!!! Thank you for having us, Theresa and Alex!! :)

Tiffany + Sean : Wedding at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and Living Seas Salon

February 28, 2020 by Jensey Leave a Comment

A true dream from first email, the opening line of Tiffany’s message was her asking if we would photograph her wedding day… and that she’d change her date if need-be. <3

Like so many of our Disney brides, she first found us through Carrie Hayward’s Disney Wedding Podcast, and Tiffany even says she’s read Carrie’s Disney Wedding Guide (almost) 743 times, lol!

When Tiffany and Sean first met, everyone said they were the opposite sex version of each other. They’ve been together now for almost a decade, and Tiffany says that having Sean’s son Patrick in her life has been the best thing that’s ever happened to her. They always felt like they’ve been married for so long but finally booked a Disney wedding to celebrate with their favorite people in their favorite place! :)

*My* favorite thing about this wedding day was watching Tiffany completely geek out about meeting some of our favorite vendor friends. Stacie from Fairytale Hair and Makeup, “Rev Kev” Kevin Knox, and Christine McPhail, her harpist– Every meeting brought new comments of “Oh. My. God. I can’t believe I’m about to meet THE Rev Kev,” etc. We laughed our way though the day so much our cheeks were sore!

Anyway, TIFFANY! I’m so so excited to be sharing YOUR wedding preview!!! Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

Kelly + Dillan : Vintage Epcot Inspired Wedding

April 16, 2018 by Jensey Leave a Comment

It all started with a duct tape cupcake.

During orientation, Kelly and Dillan were doing a getting-to-know-you activity where everyone was given rolls of duct tape and told to “bake” something. Kelly whipped up a cupcake, and I mean, if you meet someone who holds *this* much talent, well… Are you surprised Dillan ended up proposing?! ;)

SO many nods to Epcot in this wedding. Epcot has been Kelly’s favorite place since she was a kid and Illuminations holds a special place in her and Dillan’s love story.

So much love for these sisters. <3

I *loved* that they read private vows during their first look. <3

Disney floral incorporated Kelly’s handmade park map flowers into her flowers. <3

Windy Florida hazards!

Spring has sprung in Orlando (sorry everyone else!)

This look Kelly had when she reached the end of the aisle with her dad gave me alllllll the feels. <3

This guy, my favorite violinist! He can play any song you request, even if he’s never heard it, just by listening to a song from someone’s phone. This was him killing “Stand Out” from A Goofy Movie. Powerline would be proud!

Spaceship Earth caaaaaaake!

I *thought* this would be my favorite photo when Nate showed it to me on the back of his camera…

… But then he took this one. For the first couple minutes after the fireworks finished, Kelly and Dillan just held each other and soaked in the last few minutes of their wedding day. You guys- This is why we love this job. <3

Kelly and Dillan, thank you for having us!!! :)
