Jenseys (Jensies?) weren’t made for summer. Missing snow something awful this month!
Jenn + Bob : New Hope PA Wedding at Centre Bridge Inn
Jenn has been a loyal blog reader for years and years. She’s commented a bagillion times, and even entered both of our portrait giveaways. We became Facebook friends and communicated through “likes” and the occasional comment. After following her love story with Bob since Carrie and Patrick’s wedding, well- When Bob proposed, I felt like a friend had gotten engaged!
I’m so so happy Jenn and Bob brought us up to charming New Hope, PA for their big day. :)
Easily my favorite moment of the day- Bob helping Jenn’s son Jack get dressed for the big day. Jack was SO excited for the wedding, and told anyone who would listen how he couldn’t wait to give his mom away. <3
I’ve been pretty bad at remembering to post mirror shots lately. :/
Jenn and Bob booked us a room at the Centre Bridge Inn a couple nights before the wedding. We later learned that for the first night of our stay, we were the only ones in the Inn. Like… No concierge, no employees, no other guests. I’m so thankful we didn’t know this after seeing photos like this around the property. ;)
Cute first look time!
Another favorite! :)
What you can’t tell by Jenn’s smile in all these photos is how CRAZY cold it was- It even started snowing just a few hours after we took these! Jenn was a total trooper and insisted on not wearing a coat for these photos. Love. My. Brides!
Loooooooooooooooooove knowing guests at weddings. Hi Patrick! :)
Jenn and her daughter Kayla are crazy close. Another favorite! :)
Jenn is as smitten with her niece as I am with my nephews. :)
Ceremony time! I love that Kayla and Jack gave their mommy away. :)
I told you it snowed! :)
Bob’s amazing parents made this wood stand for their “Swiss Family Robinson Cupcake House!”
Jenn and Bob had a lot of Disney touches to their New Hope wedding, one being this Mickey positioned next to the cupcakes. One of my favorite moments of the day was watching their sweet wedding coordinator putting this together all wrong- I walked up and the ears were properly placed, but that bottom tray was flipped upside down! I tried telling her sweetly that the red candies were Mickey’s pants with yellow buttons, but she kept insisting that I was incorrect- That Mickey was in fact wearing a red mask and the yellow dots were his eyes. Bless! I waited till she left to flip Ninja Mickey back around. :)
Another favorite moment of the day was Jenn, Bob, Jack, and Kayla’s family dance to “Life’s a Happy Song” from The Muppets. :)
I used to think my Mom was all-knowing when she could tell I ate something I wasn’t supposed to eat. The more weddings we do and faces like this I see, well… Maybe I wasn’t as sly as I once believed! :)
I had high hopes for our goofy friend Patrick’s dance moves and he did NOT disappoint!
At one point, the dance floor was packed with 15 preteens singing along to the song Shots at the top of their lungs. I’m pretty sure this was when Nate and I decided Bat Mitzvahs will not become our target market anytime soon. ;)
Jenn and Bob, thanks for everything!! We can’t wait to meet your little bean soon! :)
