Carleigh and Steven | Disney Boardwalk Wedding

July 9, 2026 by Jensey Leave a Comment

Carleigh and Steven met each other through figure skating. Luckily Nate was hired to photograph this one solo; had I been there, I would have been making them talk skating with me all day! (I spent my childhood skating and often toy with the idea of trying to pick it back up as a grown up!)

Steven proposed to Carleigh in Niagara Falls, which happened to be where they had one of their first dates! He planned to pop the question on the ferris wheel, but when Carleigh was afraid of the height, a plan B was made! After a romantic proposal in their hotel room overlooking fireworks, Carleigh said yes and here we are! :)

Mary + Stephen : California Grill Wedding Reception

October 17, 2023 by Jensey Leave a Comment

Mary and Stephen were together for 12 years before getting married!
Their meeting story involves a chance meeting, impromptu lunch, her asking how he spells his name (because she wanted to see if it was the same as the Taylor Swift song “Hey Stephen,” obviously!)
Now they’ve been through college years, first jobs, new jobs, natural disasters, loss, all of it. Their love of Disney brought them to having their wedding here, and I’m so excited to share their story with you!

Robin + Eric : Romantic Wedding at Walt Disney World

June 28, 2019 by Jensey 1 Comment

Even before officially booking her date with Disney, Robin reached out and asked us to be her wedding photographers! :)

It seemed like everyone we spoke with at the wedding was in agreement that these two are a perfect fit. One of the first conversations Robin and Eric had was the fact that their kids shared the same name- Cameron and Kamren! Now that they’re a family, they go by Cam and Kami to save some confusion. :)

Some of my favorite things about their wedding day: KIDS GALORE! There was no lack of laughter, that’s for sure! Robin had not one but TWO stunning gowns and I’m so hoping this continues to be a trend for our Root brides! ;)
