If you’ve been following the blog the past 3 months, you probably know I’ve been digging through our archives and trying to get most of my blog backlogs up (I even had one from 2020- oof!)

Some of the ones I saved, I almost loved too much. I honestly don’t know if it was a matter of being intimidated to finally share, or I loved so much and by hitting “publish,” it meant we were officially done with the wedding. That was most definitely the case with Hope and Mark: my favorite wedding.

Nate and I have been a fan of Mark Willard’s Disney photography for yearsssss. I mean *years.* Anytime there’s a new show, parade, anything- I get so excited to see Mark Willard and Tom Bricker’s photos. I’m an absolute fan girl! So when Mark Willard found love with a literal princess, I thought oh-em-gee, I cannot wait to see those wedding photos. Cue my compleeeeeete shock when Hope and Mark emailed asking us if we we were available for their wedding day.

I’ve only had this reaction a couple of times in our career, but I genuinely had the first reaction of “Does he have us confused with another photography team?”

After we moved past that, we giddily said “YES!” and then let the crippling anxiety take over the months leading to the wedding to the wedding thinking don’t mess this up, don’t mess this up, don’t mess this up! Of course, this was just my experience it seems; Nate’s brain couldn’t be more different than mine! ✨

Hope and Mark’s wedding was one of those lightning in a bottle situations; the perfect couple, perfect lighting, venue, floral, families, vendors, everything. If I could duplicate a wedding this would be it; I’m their biggest fan and constantly wishing-hoping-praying for a someday vow renewal on one of their amazing adventures!

Willards, we love you so. It was the honor of a lifetime to be your photographers, and I’m so excited to finnnnnally share these favorites with the world!!
