Nicole + Michael : Walt Disney World Wedding

There are weddings we love, weddings we really love, and then weddings that when editing, make me think, “Oh, this might be my favorite Disney wedding EVER.”

Nicole and Michael’s day was that wedding for me. Nicole has all the makings of your quintessential Disney princess. She’s kind, gorgeous, and though I can’t confirm it, I’m pretty sure a team of blue birds must dress her every morning. Michael was an absolute sweetheart, and it was so completely evident to everyone around how much he adores Nicole.

We had a dream team of vendors, from us (duh), to Tyler of Beyond Videography, and a magical team of fairy godmothers from Ciro’s Hair Pavilion in NJ who flew down to do hair and make-up! :)

They did an amazing job- Not once, but twice did I hear random little girls gasp and tell their mom “Princess Jasmine is getting married!”

When I pulled photos for their blog post, my heart couldn’t narrow down any less than 90 to share. So, this is a surprise two-parter. (Sorry, Nicole!!) But I’m just that in love with this sweet couple. ❤

Nicole and Michael, I can never thank you enough for letting us be a part of it all. We so hope these photos make you happy!!! :)

Nicole said that for years, she’s looked for an ornate copy of The Princess Bride to put on her bookshelf. Michael to the rescue with the perfect wedding morning surprise! :)

Nate posing these slippers like “real” shoes for this photo made my heart swoon!! :)

Is it weird to love a wedding dress so much you want to marry it? Good. :)

And then my favorite wedding moment of 2016 happened: Nicole sat on the floor in her big, magic gown (did you see that bow?! Magic!!) in front of the Grand Floridian’s Christmas tree and she and Michael exchanged their wedding gifts.

Destiny + Sebastian : Orlando Walt Disney World Wedding Photographer

Oh, these two. <3

Destiny and Sebastian were married right before Thanksgiving, which means I’m a bit delayed in getting these teaser photos out to them! Their wedding was all things beautiful and fairy tale, from their candlelit ceremony at Sea Breeze Point to their Epcot reception where two of Cinderella’s bluebirds were finishing up their wedding cake. (No, seriously! Keep scrolling down!)

One of my favorite photos of the day happened just after their first look, when we stepped outside their building for portraits. The lighting was stunning, and we happened to come across the Grand 1 yacht, where months prior, Sebastian proposed to Destiny. :)

When THIS is the view from your getting ready room, you know it’s gonna be a good day! :)

Destiny and Sebastian had already done their Magic Kingdom portrait session earlier in the week, so we didn’t do a first look. But this was the first time Destiny’s dad saw his daughter in her wedding dress. :)

Maddie + Liam : Grand Floridian Family Session

I always miscount these things, but I’m about 80% sure this was our 9th(!!!!!!!!!!!!!) session with these guys. I know their momma will correct me in the comments! ;)

I can’t even express the joy we get from watching these little toots grow up and we’re honored to be their family photographers. <3 Lindsey has always made it a priority to document their family, and it’s such an inspiration to me. Nate and I had our first session (of us!) this year since our wedding- Almost NINE years ago y’all! We were needing an updated portrait for our adoption packets and realized that other than our traditional selfies, we hadn’t had someone else take our photo!

Whenever we’re lucky enough to become parents, I’m taking Lindsey’s note. I know I’ll never feel thin enough or pretty enough to have a session done, but it’s not for me. It’s for Baby Root. It would break my heart if we didn’t have a session with me in it for 9 years!

Anyway, thank you for inspiring me, Lindsey. I know I get a lump in my throat every time I look through our oldest shoots with y’all, and I know Liam, Maddie, and future grandkids will be so thankful for this gift of memories!!

But can we talk about how this is maybe my favorite brother/sister portrait ever?! Maddie is a Gap model in the making and Liam is a real life Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes!! This is them to me 100%!!

It always takes Maddie a little bit to warm up. ;)

But before we know it, Lindsey is jumping into her toddler comedy hour and killing it with the kiddos!

Can we talk about how Liam was this tiny when we first took his photo?!?!?

Omg, Maddie and that little finger is my favorite thing ever. <3

No one dresses her daughter better than Lindsey!! <3

On our first family session with these kids, Liam was ovvvvvver photos at the end of our shoot! He started crying and Nate told Lindsey and Eric to follow suit. One of my all-time-favorite family photos came out of it! Lindsey wanted a recent take on it! :)

Nate and Liam raced each other at the end of the session and I love the photo Nate got mid-race! Liam was verrrry focused, lol!
