Jenna + Tyler Wedding Part II : Reception at Epcot’s China Pavilion

April 30, 2019 by Jensey Leave a Comment

Continued from Jenna and Tyler’s Wedding Part I! :)

After their ceremony, it was on to portrait time around the Wedding Pavilion! :)

This liiiiiight! <3

5 minutes of downtime sure does look different now vs. 2 years ago! Super quick video call with Ollie to tell him goodnight! <3

Their reception was supposed to be outside in Italy but got moved indoors to China for bad weather. They absolutely took it in stride though, and I kinda love that we got some portrait time in a pavilion we’d never shot in before!

Jenna’s ponytail was my favorite!!! :)

Anytime you have a Disney attraction sign behind you during a wedding moment- I call that a win! :)

Jenna and Tyler’s wedding day was also his birthday! Jenna surprised him with a special cake and everything! :)

Teamwork makes the dream work! ;)

Jenna and Tyler, we loved loved working with y’all. Thank you for the honor!!!!

Alexis + Miranda : Light Pink and Gold Princess Rainy Wedding at the Grand and American Adventure Rotunda

February 4, 2019 by Jensey Leave a Comment

If you’re a loyal blog reader, you *may* recognize Alexis and Miranda from their Disney Springs engagement session with Nate last year! Remember this cute moment?!

Anyway, since editing those photos, I’ve been so excited to photograph their wedding daaaaay! And it finally came and I cannot wait to share photos. Here we gooooo! :)

The girls got ready in the Grand Floridian Villas. Alexis and Miranda had their hair and makeup done together, but split up when it came time to get dressed!

I spy with my little eye… <3

One shoe from each bride. ;)

Alexis requested her dress be photographed with the Mary Poppins fountain in their lobby and I was mooooore than happy to oblige! <3

First look time!!! As you’ll soon find out, their day was full of rain and tornado warnings (no.. seriously!) but I’m so happy we got a break from the sprinkles for this moment! :)

Then they did separate first looks with their fathers, and this one of Alexis with her dad just makes my eyes well up immediately!

And then THE moment I’ll never forget. Ever. The photos you see below will forever be burned into my wedding memories as long as I live.

It all started out well enough… We got word that awful weather was on its way so we had cut portraits shorts and get our brides in Cinderella’s Coach *immediately.* And we did…

Hooray! What a happy, special time! And then….

… Y’all, it was a MONSOON. I’ve never seen anything like it! As soon as their bums hit that velvet seat, the skies opened up and this happened! I’m so happy they had umbrellas to block the openings from sideways rain! But I mean is it just me or is it still a little magical?! <3

That poor driver!!

Don’t worry, Alexis and Miranda made it safe and sound to their ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion! :)

Alexis and Miranda’s officiant was Renee from A Lovely Ceremony, which meant their ceremony was unique! Instead of a unity candle, they opted to have a lock ceremony! An iron tree wall hanging sat on an easel with a lock on it. The lock is a one-time use lock with no key to symbolize the commitment they made. :)

Bare feet with their aisle runner! <3

Getting a first look of their empty reception hall! The American Adventure Rotunda is truly one of my favorite venues!

Alexis’s favorite moment from their wedding day- A practice first dance before their guests arrived. :)

Look at those loving parents watching on! <3 <3

The rain took another break to let us shoot some fireworks photos!!

Love this one right before their bouquet toss. :)

THE BEST WAY TO END A WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alexis and Miranda, thank you for having us for your dreamy rainy luck-filled wedding!! We love y’all!! :)

Catherine + Richard : Intimate Wedding at Walt Disney World

January 21, 2019 by Jensey 4 Comments

Catherine and Richard were just the sweetest, and my favorite thing about their day was how close Catherine was to her family. Not only to her little sister, her flower girl, but Catherine’s mother was her maid of honor. So I’m holding out hope that one day Ollie will pick me to do the same, lol! :)

Always a good day when Stacey from Fairytale Hair and Makeup is on board! :)

This duo! <3 <3

How fun was Richard’s tie!!! <3

Just the sweetest sisters- Look how they even twirled the same!!! :)

Loved Richard’s emotion to seeing Catherine walk down the aisle. :)

Catherine’s mom looking on just gives me all the feels. And look at their matching dimples!! :)

MARRIED! :)

When we catch the grandparents holding hands <3

Catherine’s dad barely holding it together while dancing with his daughter. <3

Look at these Beauty and the Beast strawberries!!!!! :)

Catherine and Richard, it was an absolute honor!! <3
