After portraits around Sarasota Springs, it was off to Jen and Travis’s vow renewal at the Polynesian Village Resort. Be still my heart! <3
They *began* their wedding ceremony by walking in through a petal toss and leading guests to the ceremony site. <3
I am so, so, so in love with these Luau Pointe ceremonies! I mean. <3
Jen and Travis officiated the ceremony themselves, with the perfect bit of humor and sentimentality. They lost both of their fathers since their wedding day, and so much of the day honored their memories by quoting their words. My favorite part of the ceremony was when they took turns reading their original vows, and then read what they wanted to add them 10 years later. It was so sweet and simple and the first time in my life I think we maaaaay plan a 20 year vow renewal ourselves. ;)
After family photos, their guests were treated to a complimentary Dole Whip. Look. At. These. Fastpasses!! <3
One last photo of Jen’s morning look…
… and now their evening attire! <3
Maybe my favorite. <3
I drove our gear to the Contemporary while Jen, Travis, and Nate hopped on the monorail to head to the reception. <3
The Napa Room and the gentlemen who run it forever have my heart. <3
Instead of having guests toast them, Jen and Travis walked around and introduced, toasted, and occasionally roasted their friends and family. <3
Another favorite thing about the reception?! The gorgeous gal on the left is Ollie’s babysitter! Jen reached out asking if we knew anyone she could hire to take care of the kids’ table at the reception and we knew Jasmine would be the perfect fit! We know how much Ollie adores her, but it was so fun seeing her come in with her bag of tricks and color with a one year old while encouraging a 5 year old to build a tower while going through Brain Teasers with a 10 year old. You could tell that every child felt paid attention to and I think I heard people raving about Jasmine more than their Dole Whips! I hope more couples bring her along for their day!! <3
Jen and Travis, our hearts are so full but I’ve never felt so nervous to click publish on a blog post!! We love y’all and hope to see you again soon!!! :)
