In honor of my little sister’s birthday today, I’m posting what I think may be the most recent photo of us taken last summer. (Yes, her job is way cooler than mine!)

When Wendy contacted us about photographing her family, Nathanial and I were a bit intimidated- We’ve never shot a family this large before! As soon as we met, everyone was so darn friendly; we knew we’d be fine. :)

We loved turning this canopy into our little (big) studio for 30 minutes! Having a loving and agreeable family made it all the more fun. :)

Yesterday, we photographed our second ever maternity session and I loved it. :) If any past Root brides are interested, contact us to reserve a date!
Special thanks to the lovely Jamie for giving us the chance to shoot it during her mentoring session with us (my goodness, I can’t believe we did a mentoring session!) She brought along her equally gorgeous, pregnant best friend, Lauren. I’m still having a hard time believing Lauren’s pregnant… She’s due next month and walking in 7 inch heels like it’s nothing! More from this session and our time with Jamie coming soon. :)
