The bride and best man wedding fist-bump.

Michelle and I became Twitter buddies a few years ago and know each other because she’s part of the incomparable Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons team. When her roommate and best friend Matthew was in need of a family session last year, she sent him our way and we’ll forever be grateful- his family session at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is an unforgettable favorite. (If you need to remind yourself of which shoot I’m talking about, you can see the best looking family ever here!)
I was so excited when she and Matthew asked us to shoot a roommate session for them! There were a few ideas tossed around of where to go and what to do, but I’m so glad we ended up doing downtown Celebration, if just because Nate got one of my favorite photos of 2013 with the early morning fog… I mean, really. If we had a studio, you’d better believe this baby would be on a 30×40″ canvas!

Matthew is an incredible stylist (as if you couldn’t tell from his family session at the Boardwalk Inn!), but I think he really outdid himself this time. :)

Is it weird that I wanna be best friends with them just so I can look at them all the time?!

Matthew, I absolutely adore you.

Michelle, I think this one’s my favorite of you!!! <3

Favorite moment of the session? Michelle asked a random guy walking his huge greyhound on the street if we could use it for a photo, and he looked a bit concerned about how the dog would do. We told him no worries and went on our way. About a half hour later, he came back with a different greyhound for us to play with! :) I’m so happy he did, because I’m pretty sure this moment belongs on Celebration, Florida’s home page!

Dear Michelle and Matthew, thank you SO much for the fun time. Can we please make it a yearly tradition? And can we please be friends so I can stare at your pretty faces whenever I want? Seriously- Thank you soooo much- Hope you love the photos! :)

Part I of Veronica and Jamie’s wedding at Rosen Shingle Creek here! :)
Favorite altar kiss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay friends in the bridal party! :)

Had to steal a quick photo with the bride. :)

Like our other Rosen Shingle Creek couples, Veronica and Jamie opted to have their reception in the Butler Ballroom. It’s such a cool space, because your guests enjoy the cocktail hour upstairs and then come down for the party!

First dance love. :)

The father of the groom showing us all how it’s done!

I don’t know if I wanna eat that cake more or make a dress out of it! :)

Our first time seeing the “Wobble,” and I have to admit, no one’s come close to doing it this well since!

Where our night would typically be over at this point, Veronica and her bridal party had other plans…

… They totally did it!!! (And look how cute Brianna is on the far right!!)

F A V O R I T E.

Another Fantasyland-er pal, Cory, was a true gentleman and handed out towels to the freezing bridal party as they got out of the water. :) Veronica and Jamie, we love you guys and are so happy you picked us! Cory, Breanna, and Veronica- Love you guys so much. Fantasyland wooooooooooo!

You may remember Veronica and Jamie from their engagement session at Downtown Disney. You know, the one with the cute green Gummy Bear engagement ring photo? :)
Veronica and I were both Fantasyland cast members during our Walt Disney World College Programs and we’ve kept in touch ever since. She was one of those friends who would always comment on our photos saying she wanted us to photograph her wedding someday, and I wasn’t holding my breath because sometimes you don’t know if people are just saying that and they’ll forget about us when that day comes. Sure enough, Veronica wrote us immediately after getting a ring on her finger. She and Jamie booked us so far out from their wedding date- One of those bookings that seems like it’ll never come, but at the same time you kinda don’t wanna rush it because it’s one you’re really looking forward to and I love having those on the calendar. :)
I love when friends get engaged, because I’m able to put them in touch with other wedding vendor friends who I know will take good care of them. I can’t imagine being engaged today and not knowing anything about wedding vendors and just Googling for a wedding planner and hoping for the best! I immediately put Veronica in touch with “friendors” of ours and crossed my fingers they were good matches for each other! Veronica ended up going with our pal Tracy Marini of Eventfully Yours who took great care of them through the planning process, and Patricia LeJeune of LeJeune Artistry, who took an already gorgeous Veronica and made her the best version of herself. :)

I can’t remember if this moment was Veronica freaking out excited about getting her wedding dress on or freaking out because her maid-of-honor just suggested they all jump in the pool at the end of the night! ;)

Favorite moment of the day? Jamie walking to the first look. ;) Nate told him not to look to the left because Veronica was waiting there, so Jamie decided to walk sideways like this the whooooole way, facing away from us. I mean- The poor guy could have covered his eyes or just turned his head to the right, but this was so much cuter and took about 10 times longer than necessary. Veronica and I were cracking up. :)

I know I shared this on this month’s First Look on the 1st, but I have to one more time. So much love!! <3

Veronica and Jamie had their ceremony and reception at Orlando’s Rosen Shingle Creek Resort.

Veronica, you’re gorgeous. <3

Love this shot of Tracy and Veronica! <3

I loooooove photographing weddings when I have friends in the bridal party! I also worked with this gorgeous face at Disney. :)

Love this shot Nate got of Veronica and her dad starting their walk. :)

Ring warming ceremonies are my most favorite. :)

Don’t forget to check back tomorrow for part two! <3
