Last month we had the pleasure of doing a head shot session with Korri, who happens to be (in my opinion) the perfect mix of Tiffani Thiessen and a little Connie Britton. We photographed her around Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. :)
Susie + Adam : Lake Buena Vista Orlando Wedding
Another one from the archives: Susie and Adam’s Disney wedding. :) These guys came to us from across the pond and got married in the Wedding Pavilion, enjoyed lunch with their guests afterward in The Living Seas Salon, and that evening, dessert and dancing in the Grand Floridian Convention Center. They are tons and tons and tons of fun, and their wedding day absolutely flew by. Susie and Adam, thank you for having us!! <3
Julianna : St. Petersburg, Florida Family Session
Happy Friday!! I can’t believe we’re in mid-August, which is practically September, which means Halloween is just around the corner and then we can decorate for the holidays! Our fall wedding and travel schedule is so crazy, so I’m truly enjoying the calm before the wedding storm. We’ve been taking extra long walks with Huck, enjoying sunsets on our back patio, and I’ve even been getting a jump on our Christmas gifts. I sew about 1/2 of the gifts we give every year, so if I don’t start now, I’ll never get everything done in time! Sometimes I feel like my entire year is preparing for the holidays, and I’m perfectly fine with that. ;) How have your summers been?!
While we don’t have any recent sessions to share this month, I thought it’d be a great time to do some “spring cleaning” (summer cleaning?) and share some posts that kinda got lost between the cracks. The ones that have been collecting dust at the bottom of my WordPress drafts… Eek!

Kristen + Scott : Normandy Farm Wedding in Blue Bell, PA

Kristen and Scott were married at Normandy Farm in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania- It was actually the second wedding we’ve photographed at this venue! Kristen found us through Hallpants’s parents when she used to work with them at Disney, and I couldn’t be happier that she remembered us when she got engaged. Kristen is happiness personified and truly became one of my all-time favorite brides, and I don’t know that I can remember a groom as smitten as Scott!
I’m so happy to have these two in our little Root family, but also as new friends. Can’t wait to share the rest soon, y’all! <3
