Hallpants + Henrybear : Port Orleans Riverside Family Session

Ohhhh, these two bugs. If you’ve ever poked around this blog or my personal one, JenseyLoves, you’ve surely seen our cute nephews’ faces! If you’re new around here, meet “Hallpants“ and “Henry Bear,“ the sons of our best friends Nick and Jessie!

We are never without a camera when we’re spending time with this crew, but we hadn’t done an official “session” since Henry was a newborn. Shame on us!! We took them to Port Orleans Riverside before heading to play at the Magic Kingdom and photographed almost all of their session in this *one* pathway with amaaaaazing light.

It was so hot out and these gentlemen were such good sports!

I can’t believe it’s been 13 years since Nick and I became friends while working at Dumbo in the Magic Kingdom! Who ever knew that cute boy at work would some day be one of my dearest friends and give me the two sweetest nephews I could imagine!

Jessie is the sweetest momma I know. She’s my Kate Middleton and I look up to her in every way possible. <3

Why do we call him “Hallpants?” I don’t know! Ever since Jessie was pregnant and knew they were having a son and naming him “Hall,” it’s sort of the only thing Nate and I have ever referred to him as! They’ve morphed it into “Hallman,” but he’ll always be Hallpants to meeeee!

Henry maaaaaaybe cut the shoot a bit short with this little move (Poor Jessie!) I love Hall’s face here, like, “Well, now you’ve done it, Henry!” Jessie, Nick, Hallpants, and Henry, we love y’all more than you know. Until next time! <3

Juliana + Ryan : Wedding at The Manor in West Orange, NJ

We met Juliana when she was a bridesmaid in her sister’s Disney wedding. Gina’s wedding was one we’ll never forget, from our showing up to the Grand Floridian in a tornado warning (it poured so hard we couldn’t even see the Wedding Pavilion!), to the end of the night where Gina was running and sliding across the dance floor in her wedding gown, LOL! There is NO better feeling than when the brother or sister of a bride books us for their wedding- It’s so fun showing up to the next wedding as old friends. <3

This was my favorite photo of Juliana and Ryan from Gina and Bob’s wedding! :)

Then and now with Princess Summer. I only just noticed how similar their flowers were! <3

The flower girl dresses were handmade by Juliana’s mom to look like hers. I was in awe! :)

I loved that Juliana’s robe matched her wedding programs!!

Juliana and Ryan actually met at this little one’s baby shower!

This little warrior. <3 Summer was diagnosed with pediatric liver cancer when she was born and has undergone a roller coaster of surgeries and treatments all with a smile on her face. Juliana entered Summer in our portrait giveaway last year and she won, so hopefully we’ll get more quality time with this brave little girl soon. Four of my favorite women in the whole entire world. I’m so glad to have these faces in our little “Root Lifers” club!!!

BEST moment from the wedding day? This duo!! We all died when the ring bearer proceeded to pick a flower off the ground and hold it in his mouth!! :)

Courtney + Brad : Orlando Florida Engagement Session

Yet another happy engagement session around Port Orleans French Quarter!

This was Brad’s first trip to Walt Disney World and he was originally planning on proposing to Courtney here, but he just couldn’t wait! <3 They’re getting married back home this fall but wanted their engagement photos in this place that’s so special to Courtney. :)

Valerie + Rob : Bonnet Island Estate Wedding in Long Beach Island, NJ

Oh, this wedding, y’all. <3

I big time oldie but goodie- I think I may be two years late with this one (!!!!), but I’m so excited to finally share. Valerie was a bridesmaid in Gina and Bob’s wedding years ago and brought us up to New Jersey for her wedding!

What else can I tell you about these two? In 10 years, we’ve never had a bride as smiley as Valerie. She was a guest at a wedding we shot in Jersey last year, and I spotted her smile from across the venue! Her personality is infectious, and she’s craaaaaazy about Rob, who is a real-life Clark Kent. They have a cat named Mr. Darcy who was sadly didn’t make the wedding guest list, and they met playing in a co-ed touch football league!

Oh, and they had THE most adorable flower girls. LOOK AT THESE LITTLE WOMEN! <3

Their wedding was at a new favorite of mine, the Bonnet Island Estate in Long Beach, NJ. Truly a fairy tale setting and photographer’s dream! As are big-bowed, gold Kate Spade heels!
