Rebecca + Brian : Summer Epcot Wedding in Morocco!

July 20, 2017 by Jensey 2 Comments

Rebecca and Brian’s wedding day was the first of my baby leave, so the next ~8 (!!!!) wedding blog posts will be ones from days without me! Rebecca and Brian were married just days after Ollie was born, so on this particular wedding day, I was sitting for hours and hours in the NICU rocking my boy and praying for him to eat! My sister-in-law came to keep me company so Nate could go shoot the day with the help of Kimberly of Portrayable Photography, the un-sung hero of our summer. I don’t know how we would have made it through these summer months without her stepping in for me at these weddings and doing an amazing job! :) She gave me that priceless peace of mind of knowing I could be with Oliver, guilt-free, and know the quality of our work wasn’t going to change. Kim- I can never, ever thank you enough for being on call for us. <3
Rebecca and Brian met at Rutgers University and were together for 8 years before Brian proposed- Fittingly enough, on the same school campus where their story started. They both came from Disney-loving families but had never been to Walt Disney World together until it was time to plan their wedding day! :) They love traveling, Disney, and adventure, so where better to get married than Epcot? :)

Rebecca and Brian, we wish you the very best and hope to see you again when you come back to visit!! :)

CC + Brian : Grand Floridian Wedding and Reception in Orlando, Florida

June 16, 2017 by Jensey 2 Comments

You. Guys.

Nate and I have taken up permanent residence on Cloud 9 since the adoption of our SON last month. We’re enjoying every second of our sweet boy, and I’m looking forward to (hopefully!!) carving out some time this summer to write a little about his adoption story and start sharing photos. For now, I’m spending my days mainly off my phone and snuggling baby Oliver, but I’m slowly starting to work a bit in the office again.

Of *course* we would become first-time parents with a two week notice in the middle of wedding season!! I’m so grateful to our couples for being so gracious about us taking a bit longer to get previews to them, and especially our couples whose wedding dates fall during my little “maternity leave.” As bummed as I am to not meet some Root couples I was looking forward to, I’m truly soaking in every bit of baby-ness I can before returning to work!!

CC and Brian have been nothing short of wonderful about waiting to see some preview photos from their wedding that was over a month ago!! It was the last one I photographed before Ollie was born, and I’m so excited to finally share these. What a wonderful wedding to end *my* spring wedding season with! <3

They got ready at the Swan hotel and had the most amazing suite for their bridal party to spread out the morning of their wedding!

Those. Shooooooooes! <3

First look tiiiiime! And ohhhh that little Ellie Badge <3

CC, you were just as stunning as I thought you’d be! :)

That blue suuuuuit!! <3

These dessert party photos melt my heart! :)

If you counted a couple new faces in our typical selfie, you’re right! This was our first wedding with new pals Switzer World, and I’m obsessed!! :)

CC and Brian, y’all are wonderful and we so look forward to seeing you during your future trips down here!! And blog friends, give me a couple more weeks to catch up on our preview photos and then I’ll blog a bit about our scrumptious son! :)

Tanya + Barlow : Orlando, Florida Wedding

March 18, 2017 by Jensey 1 Comment

Hey hey hey, it’s Tanya and Barlow’s blog preview daaaaay! <3

These guys are from New Orleans, and I love that they had an Orlando wedding during Mardi Gras! I was so excited to tell Tanya about my favorite store in New Orleans, Kawaii Nola (go check it out if you’re in the area!), and it turned out she’s already a frequent shopper!! It was such a fun thing to bond over on her wedding morning- My best girl Jennifer’s best friend is the owner. :)

Tanya first reached out to us September of 2015- It feels like a lifetime ago! These lovebirds met online, and my favorite story about them was that their first meeting was supposed to be a casual lunch, but turned into a 10 hour first date day! Their wedding day was so fun and colorful (and any wedding that includes a nod to to Small World is a winner in my book!) Laura Reynolds Artistry was on hand to make sure Tanya looked and felt her best, and the wedding planner was our pal Amy!

Tanya and Barlow, we’re thrilled to show you some favorites from your wedding day- We hope you love these photos as much as we loved taking them!!

After their first look, it was off to the Boardwalk for their ceremony!

Miss Chancey was a dream of a flower girl. :)

Then it was off to the California Grill for their wedding reception! :)

Loved their “guest book!”

Ended the night the best way we know how- Illuminations love! <3

Tanya and Barlow, thank you for the super fun day!!! :)
