Mossy trees. Lake view. Gazebo backdrop of hanging dried oranges. Groom making an entrance on a speedboat, James Bond-style. S’mores. Flamingos in mouse ears.
I can’t pick just one detail I loved the most about Kristina and Joe’s wedding day, but those were some of my favorites!! It was a big DIY wedding for these two who put their hearts and sweat into details that represented them as a couple. So many details, in fact, that they stayed at a Fort Wilderness cabin the week of their nuptials so they could just pull their U-Haul right up to their room! :)
The one thing Kristina and Joe couldn’t plan for their wedding day was the weather, which turned out to be absolutely perfect. :)

Y’all, look at Kristina’s wedding band and her little Mickeys!!! <3

I secretly love when brides don’t have attendants to help them get dressed so I get to play bridesmaid for a day! Well… a minute, at least! :)

Loved this little sign greeting their wedding guests- Joe is a flight attendant! <3

My favorite fun fact : “He won a swim scholarship, she never learned to swim.” :)

I may or may not be making these for our yard this summer!!

Joe’s James Bond entrance!!

Kristina’s parents praying over their wedding rings in a ring warming ceremony. <3

I think every wedding needs a Power Bar!!!

Kristina and Joe, we adore y’all- Thank you for letting us be a part of it!!! :)

Guess who dropped by for a quick hello – Hercules and his cousin, Prince! <3

We’ve seen a lot of embroidered parent handkerchiefs over the years, but these had little Mickey embroidered details at the bottom! :) Also, random fact : Alex’s mom is the gorgeous woman kissing her cheek in this photo, and I genuinely thought she was one of her sisters when I first walked in the room!!

Alex’s wedding gift from Aaron was this beautiful “A” charm from Tiffany’s. <3
I loved all of our portraits of Alex, but I think this one with Hercules is my faaaaavorite! (Sorry, Aaron!)
Bridesmaids seeing her for the first time!! Only Alex’s sisters knew what her dress looked like! :)
Loooooove this one from her father/daughter first look with her bridesmaids looking on. <3
We took them to “my” fountain at the Grand where they stood back to back reading letters to each other before turning around…
… And they had quite the audience! Thanks, Spring Break! ;)

Tooooo many favorites, but this one’s way up there!

If it *had* to rain on a wedding day, at least it was this one, which followed my 2 wishes : Not during portrait time, and with a bride who smiled through it!! :)

Off to Epcot for fireworks tiiiiiiime!
I love this one of Alex and Aaron just before being announced into their reception. Sneaky Nate! :)

Another favorite!!! Alex’s father daughter dance. <3
And the award for best bride faces ever… <3

Alex and Aaron, we love y’all!!!! Happy Honeymooooooon!! <3
