Amanda + Corey : Estate on the Halifax Wedding in Port Orange, FL

January 7, 2019 by Jensey 1 Comment

On the way to Amanda and Corey’s wedding, I looked them up on Facebook and saw that my sister was a mutual friend. We walked into Amanda’s cottage where she got ready, and I excitedly told her she knows Amelia! “Oh I know, I told y’all I’ve followed you from the beginning!” I said I thought that meant the beginning of their engagement, etc, and she pipes up, “Nope! From the very beginning of your business!”

I loved this sweet Celebration girl so very much!! Amanda was an absolute dream of a bride, willing to do anything for a good photo! I loved how smitten she and Corey were with each other, and I couldn’t have loved their wedding venue more! It was our first time shooting the Estate on the Halifax, and it felt like every turn had a photo spot more charming than the last.

Thank you so much to our vendor team for making this wedding such a good one!!

I loved the photos of their choreographed dance, but I think I loved the celebration photo when they were done even more!! :)

Loved their sweet parent dances <3

I *always* get choked up at private last dances!

Abby + Jesse : Up Inspired Boardwalk Inn Wedding

January 2, 2019 by Jensey 1 Comment

Abby and Jesse met online years ago and communicated via long emails while Jesse was overseas with the Navy. They’ve endured another deployment, nursing school, and now wedding planning! The deeper Abby and Jesse got into planning a big wedding, the less like “them” it felt, so they planned to elope. They ended up doing a larger elopement at their favorite place with their core family, and I for one think it was absolutely perfect. <3

We didn’t meet Abby and Jesse until their wedding day, but immediately they welcomed us like family. I had no idea starting that day that we’d have such an easy relationship and end with bonding over how open adoption has touched our lives. I love this job so much for the people it brings into our lives, and these two are right up there.

They both got ready at the Contemporary which is a favorite, because you know you’re gonna have a good day when you wake up to this! :)

Love the shot of Abby’s shoes with that Mary Blair mural!! <3

Abby meeting her officiant, Renee Silverman, for the first time! :)

Princess moment. <3

I just love the processionals at Sea Breeze Point ceremonies!

They had the *sweetest* Ellie Badge ceremony for their #1 girl. <3

Post-cake-smash <3

After their wedding, we had some time to take relaxed portraits around the Boardwalk! :)

That one on the left? Faaaaaaaaaavorite!

With there Ellie Badges!! Abby and Jesse, thank you so so much for having us!! :)

Lisa + Alex : Designer Weddings by Carly Rose Wedding at Ritz Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes

December 21, 2018 by Jensey Leave a Comment

Y’ALL, I’M BLOGGING. FINALLY. Let’s just take a minute and let that soak in!!!

I’m about a million shoots behind but I can’t think of a better wedding to get back on track than with beautiful Lisa and her Alex. <3

This was one of those genuinely unfair wedding days where it was nearly impossible to take a bad photo. Just going through the photos for this blog post had me smiling from ear to ear all over again! :) And I CANNOT thank our team of fairy godmothers and fathers enough for making this event an absolute dream come true!

Planner : Designer Weddings by Carly Rose

Beauty : Before the Aisle – Kristen Tewson

Entertainment : Jim from FyerFly Productions

Film Makers : Collective Film & Co

Bride & Bridesmaids Fashion : Solutions Bridal

Catering : The Ritz Carlton – Leigh Anne Lewis

Florals : In Bloom</P

Rentals & Decor : Over the Top, Inc. and Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals

Stationery : Andi Mejia

Can we take a minute to “awww” over the fact that their middle names are Rose and Bud, respectively?! Awwwwwww <3

This girl and this dress!! Solutions Bridal strikes again! <3

This bridesmaid reveal!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

I thiiiiink Alex approved! <3

Fun fact about Annunciation Catholic Church: When baby Nate and baby Jensey were newlyweds, we lived in a condo down the street! At night, we’d take a then two-eyed Huck for late night walks around the grounds. :)

They could be models! Every single one of them. <3

After our church portraits got rained out, we headed back to the Ritz for reception magic and sunny portraits! :)

And then <3 <3 <3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lisa’s planner, Carly Rose, truly outdid herself! :)

The *second* they opened their eyes to see the room they’d dreamed about! Lisa’s happy tears and Alex’s jaw-drop says it all :)

M A G I C .

This is their seating chart!!! How cute is this!!!!

FAVORITE. <3

If I told you this moment happened while “The Circle of Life” played, would you believe me?
