Lindsay + Cody : Take Two Proposal
When their wedding moved to plan B, and then C, Lindsay and Cody ended up having a small ceremony in South Carolina with plans to celebrate with the rest of their loved ones the following year. Cody wanted to make sure their big 2nd wedding still felt special for Lindsay, so he even planned a second proposal for her!! He reached out to Nate who helped plan a casual bump in at the Grand Floridian to capture the moment. When Lindsay spotted him, Nate played surprised, saying he was waiting to start a session with another couple. He asked them to test out the light in a spot he’d be photographing the couple in, and Cody got down on one knee, *completely* surprising Lindsay!!
Theresa + Alex : Disney Fairy Tale Wedding
Social media is definitely my weakest link. When we’re in our slow season I’m GREAT about consistent posting, blogging within a week of a wedding, and replying back to everyone! But the busier we are behind the scenes, the quieter we often are online. Needless to say, I’ve been falling waaaaay behind on Instagram and Facebook but we’re definitely working feverishly to stay on top of wedding edits and gallery deliveries!!
I still have some 2020 weddings I haven’t gotten around to so I’ll be mixing up my timeline a bit on here to help with the backlog. Theresa and Alex have already been married for one MONTH and I’m so excited to share some of our favorite moments!! I’ll most remember how joyful Alex was from start to finish. Just waaaaaait until you see their first look! <3
I cry at almost *every* father daughter first look lately!!
I MEAN. <3 <3
Sometimes the best photos come when things *don’t* go as planned- Like when Alex was determined to make this unity candle light no matter what! :)
Instead of a bouquet and garter toss, they opted for a Mickey and Minnie toss! The guests loved it. <3
When their reception was over, we dragged our gear through 6″ puddles and pouring rain to book it to their private patio for their dessert party. As we were running to the venue, the music started and the show started 10 minutes early! We set up lights in the rain and waited for Theresa and Alex… and waited and waited… and waited! They came RUNNING up in ponchos literally during the last 15 seconds of the show, tossed their rain gear, and the rain stopped almost immediately. I’m so glad they made it JUST In time and we were able to get some beautiful photos!!
I remember every dessert party in the pouring rain and this one will be no different!!! Thank you for having us, Theresa and Alex!! :)
