Heather and Michael are probably the most patient bride and groom in the world!
We photographed their wedding days after moving, and I’m so embarrassed to just now be sharing their wedding preview. You guys, thank you for being so patient and letting us be a part of your fun wedding day! :)
This adorable flower girl happened to be Michael’s beautiful daughter! She was in great spirits despite the fact that until that week, she thought *she* was the bride!
FAVORITE.
A few times a year, I tend to find myself in what I like to call, “the-sky-is-falling” mode.
It doesn’t take much- Whether it’s a couple weeks without a wedding inquiry, maybe a month without a booking. Maybe, oh I don’t know, closing on a new home? But occasionally I become completely and utterly convinced that our life as we know it is over, and the bookings are gonna stop. Just like that. That’s the scariest part of being self-employeed- I know we’re good for this year, but that’s about as far out as the headlights allow me to see. I always thought that once we’d been in business ~5 years, I’d start feeling a sense of peace that we’re ok. But 9 years in and I still get as anxious as year 2 whether or not people still want us around.
This is where Nate comes in: he’s always able to read what part of the sky-is-falling spectrum I’m on in any given moment of time. Whether I’m just being unusually quiet in the car or sobbing before bed, he knows exactly what to say and do to make it all better.
I’m just grateful that even though our headlights only go so far, Nathanial’s the one driving the car.
Happy birthday, Bug. I love you more with each second and can’t wait to spend another year holding your hand. :)

Jenna and Liam’s ceremony location got moved around more times than I remember because of all the construction going on at the Animal Kingdom. I loved where they ended up!

Remember their Magic Band proposal? I loved how they incorporated it with their signs for each food served.
I was surprised the guests weren’t prepared for the cold temperatures- The reception was at the base of Mount Everest, for goodness sake!
Oh, just a glow stick entrance into the reception. No big deal. ;)

TIM HOUSE! I met Tim ~18 years ago and he’s been a close family friend ever since, so it’s an extra special wedding when his smiling face is around! :)

Jenna was born October 23rd and is obsessed with 10:23, so that’s precisely when they scheduled their cake cutting. <3
Her maids of honor gave one of my all-time favorite toasts, complete with direct quotes from emails from Jenna talking about when she first met Liam. I laughed so hard I was crying! :)
