Colleen + Ken : Garrett Williamson Foundation Wedding in Newtown Square, PA

July 23, 2017 by Jensey 1 Comment

“He’s tall dark and handsome, I’m short light and cute. We’re a funny looking couple, but we were made for each other. We’ve been together 7 years and got engaged earlier this year in Italy. We like to try new things and make tasty snacks, followed by serious kitchen dance-offs. We’re silly and goofy in love.”
That was an excerpt from the first time Colleen wrote us, and I agree with it all, except for the funny looking couple part! :) I first met Colleen when we worked in Fantasyland about a million years ago. I fell in love with her joyful spirit, and she had me from the first time I heard her crow like Peter Pan! <3
Colleen and Ken were married at the Garrett Williamson Foundation in Newtown Square, PA. Nate so loved escaping the Florida heat and getting some crisp air in May! :)

This wedding was so colorful, it made my heart happy just editing the photos! :)

Colleen, you were made to be a bride!! <3

One of my allllllllllllllllllllllllllll time favorite first look photos!! <3

Oh, the littles at this wedding, y’all! <3

I *love* that they walked up to the altar together. <3

Another faaaaaavorite! <3

Colleen, I couldn’t be happier for you, my sweet friend, and Ken! I’m so sad I didn’t get to meet you!! Come to Disney World, asap! :)

Rebecca + Brian : Summer Epcot Wedding in Morocco!

July 20, 2017 by Jensey 2 Comments

Rebecca and Brian’s wedding day was the first of my baby leave, so the next ~8 (!!!!) wedding blog posts will be ones from days without me! Rebecca and Brian were married just days after Ollie was born, so on this particular wedding day, I was sitting for hours and hours in the NICU rocking my boy and praying for him to eat! My sister-in-law came to keep me company so Nate could go shoot the day with the help of Kimberly of Portrayable Photography, the un-sung hero of our summer. I don’t know how we would have made it through these summer months without her stepping in for me at these weddings and doing an amazing job! :) She gave me that priceless peace of mind of knowing I could be with Oliver, guilt-free, and know the quality of our work wasn’t going to change. Kim- I can never, ever thank you enough for being on call for us. <3
Rebecca and Brian met at Rutgers University and were together for 8 years before Brian proposed- Fittingly enough, on the same school campus where their story started. They both came from Disney-loving families but had never been to Walt Disney World together until it was time to plan their wedding day! :) They love traveling, Disney, and adventure, so where better to get married than Epcot? :)

Rebecca and Brian, we wish you the very best and hope to see you again when you come back to visit!! :)

The L Family : Orlando Lifestyle Newborn Session Photographer

July 19, 2017 by Jensey 1 Comment

Oh, these faces. <3

We’ve now photographed Jess and Bligh’s engagement session, wedding day, maternity session, and now newborn session!!! This was one I’ll really, truly, honestly never forget because we were on baby watch for Oliver Hobbes!!! (I know, I should probably get around to blogging about our newest family member soon, but for now, I have too big of a photography backlog!) Throughout their whole session, I was nervously texting back and forth with our birth mother and waiting for THE call, which ended up coming just two days later!!

It was so surreal meeting baby Beckett for a few reasons : 1-  Anytime our couples let us photograph this huge milestone, my heart grows three sizes. 2- I found myself praying during our shoot that our adoption works out so our babies would only be a week apart and could be besties and I could always tell Beckett that I was a ball of nerves waiting for Ollie when we first met! :) 3- THAT HAIR. YOU GUYS, THAT HAIR. <3 <3 <3

We did their shoot in my favorite place to do newborn sessions- Home. <3

I’m convinced that Beckett isn’t just Bligh’s child, but his actual clone! :)

Faaaaavorite <3

Baby Beckett, we had so much fun meeting you and can’t wait for our first play date!! <3
