We’d been looking forward to this event ever since first meeting Edwin and Keith in their beautiful home. This wedding had all the makings of a perfect day : Stunning grooms? Check! Dream venue? Check! Great team of vendors? Cheeeeeck! And any time the magical Lisa Stoner is involved, there’s no doubt going to be a heaping dose of whimsy added in. :)
Nate and I started our day at the practically-perfect-in-every-way Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes where Edwin and Keith were getting ready together. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- Couples that get ready together are my faaaaavorite! :)
Before we knew it, it was family portrait time! <3
Edwin’s mother was so sweet and emotional all day… I started tearing up any time I saw her looking at her son.
Be sure to click Read More to meet their planner and see their beautiful sunset ceremony… with fire!! ;)
Why it’s Mary Poppins Lisa Stoner! :) Our dearest friend and wedding planner extraordinaire!
I mean. <3
Yes, that’s a fire pit heating up branding irons under the gazebo. But more on that later…
Just a sensible branding ceremony done to the theme song of Game of Thrones. Kinda hard to go back to photographing unity candles after this one, lol! :)
In all seriousness, it was AWESOME and something only Lisa Stoner would come up with! ;) Seriously- How incredible is this?! And I love it, because they branded their monogram onto leather and will hang this in their home. <3 Most good wedding planners help you think outside the box. Lisa just sets the box box on fire! <3
As soon as dinner and the main events were done on the lawn, everyone headed inside for a ballroom dance party. :)
Also- THAT IS THEIR WEDDING LOGO LIT UP ON THE DANCE FLOOR.
They also had a fire bar! :)
More familiar faces!! Jeffrey wasn’t working with us, but we were briefly able to meet him and past-Root-bride-and-now-wedding-planner Andrea! :) (You may remember Andrea and Mickey’s wedding as being the first-ever wedding at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.) It felt like fancy summer camp for a minute, with all of us sneaking out of our respective ballrooms for a quick photo! :)
One last selfie! Lisa, Carolina, and one more past Root groom, Tim- (Of Tim and Mike fame!)
Oh my goodness, thank you to the incredible team for making this such a fun wedding for us!! We hope to work with you all again soon! :)

Oh my word; Sooo good!
I could not have imagined Edwin and Keith’s wedding playing out any other way, especially having you two on hand!
PS: Any time, (and I mean ANY TIME) my name and Mary Poppins appears in the same sentence??? Well, my knees got weak! *wink
So grateful for your talent and friendship!
xx, LS
