Prairie + Nick | Disney Grand Floridian Wedding

Prairie was a nurse at a St. Louis children’s hospital with Nick’s sister, Katie. They were listening to a staff meeting and learning about a New Year’s event they were hosting in the city. When Katie found out Prairie didn’t have someone to go with, she said ‘You should go with my brother!’, and now here I am writing their wedding blog post!

Last December, Nick told Prairie he set up a spa day before a Christmas concert they were going to that night. He drove her to the hotel where the concert was supposed to be, but there was no concert; just a beautifully decorated hallway with giant Christmas trees… and Nick down on one knee. ✨

Oh, I’ve been waiting *all* year to share this one for spooky season!! ✨

Two archaeologists fell in love and had one of the most memorable weddings we’ve been a part of. A stunning black wedding dress? Check. Haunted Mansion themed reception? Mhm. A palm reader giving fortunes? Yooooouuuu betcha!!

Buckle up friends, this was a good one!! :)

I LOVE THIS IDEAAAAAA. During Candace and Erik’s wedding ceremony, they filled a chest to be a time capsule with things special to them as a couple. As each item was placed in the box, their officiant read why it reflected part of their story.
