Andrea + Mickey : Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Wedding

February 3, 2016 by Jensey Leave a Comment

FAVORITE. ORLANDO. WEDDING. EVER.

A little over a year ago, Andrea and Mickey were the first-ever wedding at the incomparable Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts! It was a little intimidating being the first to photograph the newest Orlando landmark, but oh how I’m so stinkin’ proud of these photos!! Andrea and Mickey made our job so incredibly easy, and their glamorous wedding is one I’ll never forget!

I have to also give a shout out to the amazing vendors who made this day such a dream, our pals Jeffrey Stoner of Stoner Video, Patricia of LeJeune Artistry, and of course Tracy of Eventfully Yours at the helm! And we can’t forget Greenery Productions whose touch elevated every aspect of the day to the next level!

Their romantic ceremony took place at St. James Cathedral in downtown Orlando.

One of my favorite photos Nate took all year; so timeless! <3

Ready to swoon a little bit more? Mickey made his bride’s bouquet! These guys have a strong love for bees and subtly incorporated them in Andrea’s bouquet, their wedding cake, and of course, their wedding hashtag #meanttobeegriers. :)

Andrea and I are kindred Disney spirits. She’s obsessed with all things Minnie Mouse, and I love that she found her Mickey! :)

Andrea and Mickey’s guests were treated with a once-in-a-lifetime dinner in the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater.

Yes. Their guests would grab an empty wine glass and a living statue would fill it for them!

From there the wedding reception moved to the DeVos Family Room for some serious dancing!

Andrea and Mickey’s wedding took place just before Christmas, so of course this jaw-dropping dance floor centerpiece had mistletoe hanging from it. Their guests loved sneaking to the center of the dance floor to steal a kiss! :)

Andrea and her bridesmaids serenaded Mickey with a choreographed dance to “Mickey,” complete with pom poms. You know the one- “Oh Mickey, you’re so fine, you’re so fine you blow my mind, Hey Mickey! Hey Mickey!”

If the DeVos Family Room couldn’t be more amazing, the windowed wall with the stunning view of downtown Orlando completely OPENS! I think our ears are still ringing from their guests’ reactions! :)

Andrea was surprised with a mariachi band just before the night ended, because, why not? ;)

And of course Mickey arranged for it to snow in downtown Orlando! Most magical wedding ever, I tell you. Andrea and Mickey, thank you for letting us be a part of it all! :)

Catalina + Ryan : Wedding Part I

July 10, 2012 by Jensey 6 Comments

Cata is one of my little sister’s gorgeous sorority sisters. You may remember her and Ryan’s cute engagement session around Celebration with her two yorkies, or their session around Mt. Dora. After spending time with these two, I knew that they would be such a wonderful bride and groom, and couldn’t have been more right. :)

We showed up to the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Orlando where Patricia LeJeune was wrapping up hair and makeup.

While taking photos of Cata and her momma, her mom accidentally left lipstick marks on her cheek! :)

Favorite. :)

A little Chick-fil-a and Facebook before walking down the aisle.

Their ceremony was at St. James Cathedral in Orlando.

Married!!!!!

Sorry, Disney, but Cinderella’s carriage has nothing on Cata’s dad’s bug! Cutest getaway ever. :)

This was the first wedding coordinated by Jenna and Melissa, two more of my sister’s sorority sisters- Watch out for The Jubilee Company to be sweeping Florida events soon! I’m so excited to watch this business grow and say “I knew them when!” A wedding vendor never, ever forgets their first wedding, and I was so happy to be a part of it. :)

Love when sissy is a guest at weddings. :)

Their Cypress Grove Estate House reception was picture-perfect. :)

After two engagement sessions, they didn’t need any direction when it came to photos! :)

Part two coming up tomorrow! :)

Danni + Chadd : Wedding Part I

March 13, 2012 by Jensey 3 Comments

After having way too much fun on their engagement session, Nate and I knew Danni and Chadd’s wedding day was going to be amazing. :) They’re a silly couple, they adore their dogs, and they saw each other before their near-sunset ceremony… What else could a Jensey ask for?!

Danni and Chadd first heard of us through our past couple, Jennika and Brandon, who we photographed way back in 2008. Chadd was Brandon’s best man, and on Danni and Chadd’s wedding day, Brandon got to repay the favor. We love when past couples are in the bridal party!

The bride and groom got ready at the same hotel, which always makes our job a little easier.

You can’t tell they’ve been friends most their lives at all, can you? ;)

Love finding an intimate spot for the first look.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavorite. :)

Here’s the church, here’s the steeple. Open the doors, and see all the people! ;)

They were married at the same church as Jennika and Brandon, but you couldn’t even tell with all the restorations this church has had! Love weddings at St. James Cathedral!

I think Chadd was excited. ;)

I’m in love with these two! (The photos, too!)

Danni, you were gorgeous!!!!

Check back tomorrow for part two!
