Confession time : I’ve grown to love these First Look on the 1sts so much because it’s fun to have a reason to revisit some favorite weddings! Kellie and Derek’s was a true favorite of mine. I first met Kellie when she was a freshman and I was a senior in high school in Honors Spanish. It was so special to go back to my hometown to photograph her as a bride! Happy New Year, lovelies!!!
I’m so excited for the big things we have planned for 2016. So excited, in fact, that Nate and I spent most of New Year’s Eve writing out the text for our new website. Tooooootally normal, right? ;)
We’re looking forward to sharing more from Kate and Conor’s wedding soon, but before I do, here are some teaser photos! It’s always been a dream of mine to photograph at the Memphis Peabody Hotel, a place that played such a big part in my childhood! Between that and our couple’s church being right next door to my high school, it made my heart so happy to end the year with a hometown wedding.
