Christal + Ray : Wedding

January 29, 2012 by Jensey 2 Comments

Christal and Ray were originally planning on having a Walt Disney World wedding, when they realized they could have their dream wedding right at home while still paying homage to Disney. The mansion in Harkness Memorial State Park was the perfect backdrop for their Haunted Mansion themed wedding.

What’s a bridesmaid to do when she doesn’t have her straightener?

I love a good first look!

The grounds were amazing.

So thankful we had just enough light through the rest of the ceremony!

I actually had a minor panic attack thinking I missed the kiss at the end of the ceremony (just another reason I love that Nate and I shoot together!), but it turns out the officiant forgot! We had a little do-over afterward. :)

How gorgeous is this?!

They had so many Haunted Mansion touches, from their cake to bits of the Haunted Mansion ride spiel being played before their grand entrance.

Christal and Ray, thank so much for bringing us up to capture your wedding day!!

Lauren + Keith : Wedding Part II

January 25, 2012 by Jensey 4 Comments

Continued from Lauren and Keith’s Wedding Part One! :)

Lauren and Keith’s ceremony and reception were held at the Longboat Key Club and Resort. Before we knew it, it was party time! :)

Such a sweet touch- Lauren hung paper lanterns above the dance floor.

Miss Emily, the maid of honor, reading her speech off her phone. :)

Alpha Delta Pi chant/ cheer/ wedding song thing. :)

My favorite moment of the night- This little guy was stealing the show with his dance floor somersaults…

… And this ring bearer was totally jealous of all the attention. Look at that face!!

Sometimes I think bouquet toss photos are more fun when you can’t see the flowers. ;)

I know it’s hard to believe, but this gorgeous gal is my little sister!

The dance floor was crazy! So much to shoot.

My sister’s old roommate, and our hopefully someday-bride, Sarah. <3 Random fact: Sarah was actually a guest at a wedding we photographed nearly 5 years ago, before she even met my sister! She spotted herself on our old website one day. :)

Last dance, Dirty Dancing style. No brides were harmed in the making of these photos!

Lauren, I love you!!

I love that more and more of our couples are doing this- Lauren and Keith shared a private moment in an empty ballroom while their guests got set up for their grand exit. :)

Lauren and Keith, we love you guys!! Thanks for the fun wedding!

Lauren + Keith : Wedding Part I

January 24, 2012 by Jensey 8 Comments

Words can’t express how much I adore Lauren Paige. When upcoming brides are constantly commenting on the blog, talking about us on Facebook, and telling us how excited they are for the wedding, well… That in turn gets us crazy excited for the wedding! Lauren is one of my little sister’s sorority sisters, and I’m hoping to become their official ADPi wedding photographer, because I love those girls. :)

I’m pretty sure this is the definition of a perfect wedding day. Did I mention it was like 70 degrees that day?!

So sweet. :)

Bows are my favorite. Lauren’s gown for the win!

Nate’s favorite. :)

Lauren, you are gorgeous.

Lauren must have picked her bridesmaids based on their good looks, because they were all so perfect! :)

This flower girl couldn’t keep her hands off the ring bearer!

Married face!

Keith was such a stud!

My favorite. :)

Lauren’s wedding day timeline gave us plenty of time for portraits of the two of them around sunset. No first look needed! :)

Lauren and Keith’s cocktail hour included a few games of cornhole for their guests. :)  Click here to see part two of this beautiful wedding!
