This is the staircase of our home away from home in Celebration and Huck is terrified of this staircase. He’ll sit at the top and whine and whine until we eventually carry him down. It’s pretty much adorable. :)
Happy Love Day!
Aside from Valentine’s Day being a wonderful reason to celebrate love, it’s an extra special day to us because this day 8 years ago, our little munchkin came into our lives! Yes, this is Huck’s adoption day- The day that he fell asleep in my arms the second I held him, and proceeded to pee on me as soon as we were in the car on the way home.
I love you, muppet! Our lives wouldn’t be the same without you.<3
Carrie + Patrick : Disney California Adventure Anniversary Session
Continued from Carrie and Patrick’s vow renewal preview post yesterday.
Before leaving on our Aulani adventure, Carrie and Patrick wanted us to take a few photos of them around Disney California Adventure’s Buena Vista Street for an anniversary session. We hadn’t actually gotten to see the new additions to DCA since our last visit, and well, I’m in love!

Carrie + Patrick : Aulani Vow Renewal
If you follow Nate and I on Instagram (nathanroot + jenseylove), you may have seen that we had the awesome opportunity to spend a few days in Hawaii last week! We were visiting Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, for Carrie and Patrick’s vow renewal. :)
I’m excited to share some sneak peek photos, but not as excited as I am to share their anniversary session around Disney’s California Adventure tomorrow. Seriously- this is not one to miss! :):)
I thought Carrie’s paper bouquet was so colorful and happy and reminded me of their wedding day!
My favorite part of their vow renewal ceremony was their personal vows- Patrick’s had me all kinds of teary and wanting to make plans for a vow renewal of our own.
Carrie was just as gorgeous as she was five years ago!
