The many adventures of a cute husband and wife photography team!
Best greeting ever- From Lisa and Jeffrey’s place. :)

As I mentioned in my post last week regarding the new Disney World photography rules, Nate and I have loved working with the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings team for the past five years. We travel all over the country for this job so it’s rare that we get a chance to work at the same venues, let alone the same team of people, on any given wedding day.
There’s something incredibly comforting about walking into Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and seeing Bill playing the organ and greeting us with a smile. Or knowing when we see Bob or Andrew show up at a reception, there’s a good chance Mickey and Minnie are right around the corner! There was that one time I shot a wedding feeling like death and our Disney planner that day, Maxine, greeted me at the reception with a cup of hot tea with honey. Moments like that are absolutely priceless, and I’m so grateful our couples have given us the chance to photograph so many weddings at “home.”
Nate and I were finally able to sweet talk Maxine into having dinner with us during a two week Orlando trip. After dinner, she mentioned that if we weren’t doing anything the next day, we should bring Huck and meet up with the DFTW team at Celebration’s Posh Pooch Festival. I was hesitant at first thinking we’d be crashing the party, but when Saturday came and we found ourselves in Celebration with nothing to do and a newly groomed Huck, well… It was time for an adventure! :)
Pst- Have you “liked” Huckleberry Finn on Facebook yet?!

The whole gang! :)

I’ve been wanting to meet Miss Macy for years, ever since her momma Carol and I bonded over our love of itty bittys!

The one dog Huck was smitten with was Tulla Belle (can you blame him?!)…

… Sadly, she couldn’t care less. No Posh Pooch wedding ceremony for these two!

We got more people asking us if Huck was Boo than anything else. Next year, I’m just saying yes. And then charging $5 for photos with him. ;)

I don’t know how you can’t be a “dog person” when you look at a face like this!

Lastly, some favorites from our impromptu photo booth!

Nate’s favorite!

One more of Tulla. :) Thank y’all for letting us be a part of the day!!! Huck had a blast! :)

Like most of our destination couples, Jen and Greg found us through our lovely past Disney brides and asked us to come to Pennsylvania to photograph their wedding. They were married at the William Penn Inn in Gwynedd, a place that’s special to both of their families. I was in love with this venue after peeking at it online- The William Penn Inn happens to be the oldest continuously operated inn in Pennsylvania! I was smitten with the history, the grounds, and the elegant ballroom. Unfortunately, the cold and rainy weather meant their outdoor ceremony had to be moved indoors, but Jen didn’t let the change in plans ruin her day.

Jen’s dad had the dual duties of walking his daughter down the aisle and performing the ceremony.

FAVORITE!

Jen and Greg, thank you guys for everything!! Hope newlywed life is wonderful. :)

Meagan and Lucas live in the San Francisco Bay Area and had a ridiculously gorgeous vineyard wedding in Livermore, California. We love weddings in northern California because it gives us the chance to visit family members we don’t see near enough. :)

Murrieta’s Well, Meagan and Lucas’ wedding venue, had so many gorgeous photo spots. Lucky for us, Meagan and Lucas are also photographers and reserved plenty of time before the wedding for photos!

Nate’s view on the left, mine on the right. :)

Gotta love a good sister photo! :)

Yep- Meagan MADE her altar, which was adorned in antlers- a la Blake and Miranda Lambert style!

What’s better than one of the world’s cutest flower girls? Three of the world’s cutest flower girls, who happen to be sisters. :)

You just can’t beat that golden California light!

Just getting a little refreshment mid-ceremony and being ADORABLE. :)

Possibly my favorite-ever altar kiss photo. :)

The only rose petal injury I’ve seen to date. :)

Because sometimes I have to include the photos that make me giggle while I edit:

Our newlyweds let us steal them away for a few sunset photos!

I think Meagan sorta looks like Ariel here!

Meagan and Lucas, thank you sooooooooooo much for bringing us out to California! We had a ball. :)
