Bob was the coach of Gina’s little brother’s lacrosse team. See why it’s important that kids play sports? ;)
After a Christmas Eve proposal, Gina began planning the Disney wedding she dreamed of since childhood! Their wedding day began like many other Disney weddings do, by our couple getting ready at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

Nate, our lovely assistant Lydia, and I started our trek to Gina’s hotel room and picked up the pace when the sky turned from dark to holy-cow-it’s-gonna-pour. We hauled tail to Gina’s building only to have our phones start buzzing with notice of a tornado warning on Disney property!

Looking out this door on a clear day, there’s a lovely view of Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. Today- A wall of rain!

Gina was in the best mood about the day, tornado warning or not. By the time we finished photographing her details, the storm had all ready passed.

Loved these girls so much- One of them even just booked us for her wedding! :) (Hi Valerie!)

Yay! More Gina and Bob love coming to the blog tomorrow. :)

Gina and Bob’s post on Disney’s Fairytale Weddings and Honeymoons blog!
Just as my heart grows three sizes when we photograph family sessions with past couples, I looooooove anniversary sessions! There’s nothing better than catching up with friends and seeing how their lives change every year, especially when they’re couples like Kim and Mike. And especially when said sessions end with dinner, wine, and the best pie in the world. ;)
We’re lucky enough to have couples that write the sweetest thank-you emails and letters after seeing their wedding photos we created, but there’s something about being invited back to document their lives year after year. Especially in Kim and Mike’s situation, when we don’t even live in the same state. I think that fills me with a level of gratitude I’ll never fully be able to express.
We so love that they brought us up to to document the latest chapter in their life- A move to Baltimore! We photographed them in their beautiful new home and Patterson Park, which happens to be quick walk away. Nate was in big dog heaven meeting their gorgeous greyhound, Caesar!

Kim, you’re beautiful.

Kim and Mike, thank you for being “lifers.” We can’t wait til the next chapter! And more pie! :)
