Kayla + Idit | Villa Festa Wedding in Deland, FL
One of our favorite things about this job is that no matter how many weddings we photograph, there are still gems we haven’t discovered yet! Villa Festa in Deland was such a gem. Tucked away in Deland, this venue is perfect if you have a smaller guest list, an iffinity for huge moss trees, and like the feel of getting married in a cozy venue. Think cats on outdoor fountains, creeky doors, and textures galore.
Kayla and Idit fit this venue to a T! We loved getting to know these two and their sweet families. :)
My favorite part of this wedding? They had the best wedding favor idea I’ve seen!!!! Kayla and Idit are avid readers who love cuddling up with a good book. Kayla and her mother searched 2nd hand stores for months finding quirky coffee mugs that fit their personalities. Each guest took home a mug of their choosing and a bookmark with one of their favorite quotes. :)

Maddie + Taylor | Classic Fairy Tale Wedding in Orlando, FL
It was November of 2020 when two mutual friends of Maddie and Taylor decided to have a small backyard wedding instead of postponing their original wedding. Maddie made their wedding cake, and during the cake tasting, she learned that she and Taylor shared a love of hockey (despite rooting for rival teams!)
Between joint bachelor and bachlorette parties and behind-the-scenes wedding prep, it was impossible to ignore that there was something special going on between them.
With a shared love of good food and wine, traveling, their relationship grew and in April of 2023, Taylor proposed to Maddie at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville.

Drew + Marty : Capen House Wedding in Winter Park, FL
I cannot express the sheer amount of joy this wedding brought us!!
We love all of our weddings; it’s the honor of our lives to be invited into such emotional and intimate days. To try our absolute best to not only capture the love you have for each and the all the wedding things, but also the little moments with your families and friends who are families! To treat every day with the care we’d take for our own sibling’s wedding.
When the wedding is for a colleague, the pressure is ON! We feel the responsibility 10-fold, knowing there were so many other photo options out there for our friend. Drew and Marty’s wedding was just such a day. :)
We first met Drew at a Disney wedding a couple of years ago. Within 10 minutes he was glowing talking about Marty and how amazing he is! Marty was exactly as wonderful as Drew pained him out to be, and they are truly one of those couples that immediately make you feel like old friends. The day was so sweet and emotional; you couldn’t help but see how beloved Drew and Marty are with their village.
This was our second wedding at the Capen House, and it’s now been the home for two all-time favorite weddings. I hope this trend continues! :)
