Tyler + Stella : Yacht and Beach Club Family Session at Walt Disney World

When we met Alan, Melissa, Tyler, and Stella for their family session around the Yacht and Beach Club, *this* is the face that greeted us. Three-year-old Stella wasn’t shy about the fact she wanted nothing to do with us! :/

But with a little bit of silly dancing, tickling, and an amazing big brother…

… We got this photo and knew there was hope! :)

I don’t like getting my photo taken either, and I’m so relieved Stella gave us a chance. :)

These guys met us shortly after moving to Orlando! We had so much fun. :)

Jordan + Marc : St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Royal Poinciana Golf Club Wedding in Naples, Florida

Jordan and Marc found us through our past-couple-turned-amazing-friends Fleming and Peter, aka the adorable couple that graces the header of our Root Photography Facebook page. :) We knew that anyone friends with them has to be pretty great, and Jordan and Marc were so. much. fun. :)

They rented out this amazing home for their families to stay with them over the wedding week, and it made it such a fun energy on the wedding morning. Everyone was together with plenty of space to spread out, the light was goooooorgeous, and there was a great photo op around every corner!

They held their ceremony at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples.

Then it was on to the Royal Poinciana Golf Club. <3

Oh yeah- This was the night we discovered our new favorite band, None Other! I plan on doing a whole post dedicated to them soon, but if you’re looking for a band for your wedding, contact them here. Especially if you’re our couple!! I mean, you know you have a good wedding band when the bride breaks her foot dancing at her reception, right? :/ Poor Jordan!!

Alyssa + Jamie : Orlando Wedding

Alyssa and Jamie met during Alyssa’s Disney College Program: Alyssa worked at the Polynesian Luau (one of the few things Nate and I have still yet to do on property!), and Jamie sold balloons on Main Street. <3 My favorite part of their wedding was how they incorporated this special part of their story on Jamie’s groom’s cake. So sweet! Enjoy our favorites from their wedding day! :)

London Rose : Celebration Florida Family Portrait Session

Once upon a time, we photographed Rachel and Matthew’s engagement session…

… And then their wedding day…

… And now their daughter, London Rose. <3

London was so sweet and such a little lady, and clearly one of the luckiest babies on the planet!

We ended the session with some first birthday portraits for London. :)

My faaaaaavorite!!! :( We always tell our couples with little babies that we work quickly because they aren’t shy about letting us know when it’s time to be done, and London Rose was DONE! But she was such a trooper and I’m so happy we got to play a little bit! :) Rachel, Matthew, and London, we love y’all and hope to do it again soon! :)
