Brittany + Jeff : St. Timothy Catholic Church Ceremony and The Vault Reception in Tampa, Florida

This. Wedding. <3

It feels like just yesterday we were shooting Brittany and Jeff’s engagement session around the Boardwalk Inn, and then bam! Getting ready for their wedding day!

Brittany and Jeff were married at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Tampa. Nate and I frantically flipped between our 3 weather apps on the way to Tampa, worried about rain during post-ceremony portraits. But lucky for us, the rain stayed away until dinner when we were all safe and sound inside one of my new favorite wedding venues, The Vault! Tim from Story Book Weddings was the videographer by our side all day and brightening the moods of everyone around him!

Nate’s favorite moment of the day (he just corrected me- Favorite moment from our weddings this year!!) was watching everyone on the dance floor rock it out to “Go Ninja Go Ninja GO!”

My favorite part of their wedding day? This little munchkin. <3 <3 <3 <3

Brittany was flawless.

I love that Jeff wore white, too!! So dapper. :)

Photobombs during bridal portraits are ONLY encouraged when they’re by the groom! ;)

After we left St. Timothy Catholic Church, it was off to The University of Tampa for some just-married portraits! Brittany told me she used to run through this campus during college and see brides taking their photos on campus, and it was her dream to come back here for her portraits. <3

THE VAULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First built in 1923 as The Exchange National Bank, this space has now been reconstructed with a contemporary feel for an event space. The 35 foot ceiling makes for such a dramatic feel! :)

TRUTH. <3

I love the little second story room that the bride and groom used to peek on their guests before coming down for their introductions. This is definitely a new favorite Florida venue for us!! <3

THIS FIRST DANCE LIGHT, Y’ALL. Best reception hall in Florida!!

Grant Hemond and Associates kept the party going all night. We always look forward to working with that team when we’re in the Tampa area! :)

Brittany and Jeff let us steal them away for some end of the night photos outside of the historic Tampa Theatre, which happens to be my dream Florida venue to shoot someday!

Brittany and Jeff, we wish the very best for your mawage and so hope we keep in touch- Brittany, I never got to bond with you over our mutual love of “King Tut!” <3 Wishing you the happiest honeymoon and excited to share more photos soon!! :)

Sarah + Andrew : Grand Floridian Wedding in Orlando, Florida

Sarah and Andrew came all the way from the south coast of the UK to get married in Orlando! <3

They were engaged nearly 5 years ago in the Haunted Mansion, Sarah’s favorite ride. Between that story and the fact that they’re Disneyland Paris annual passholders, there really was never a doubt whether or not they’d have a Disney wedding!

Sarah had followed our work since way back when Torsie and Jack were married, and we were so honored she and Andrew picked us! <3

Audrey + Joe : Sandia Resort and Casino Wedding in Alberquerque NM

It had been well over a decade since I last saw my cousins. We’re spread out through California, Nebraska, Oregon, and Florida, so not exactly close. It’d been so long that we were all past college, a third of us had since met and married our spouses, and most importantly, my sweet cousin Joseph was now a grown man who calls himself Joe!

To say I was excited when Joe emailed was an understatement. He and Audie were getting married in New Mexico, and as the wedding Gods would have it- It was during our busiest time of the year but we had the weekend FREE! It was so fun to make my first trip to Albuquerque and yes, Nate and I may have spent an afternoon touring Breaking Bad locations! But seeing my cousins was a favorite highlight of last year. It was so bittersweet- Wonderful of course with all of us back together, even better realizing I’d be best friends with any of these amazing people who happen to share my genes. I seriously love them to pieces, but it was heartbreaking every time I remembered how far apart we all live and how long it may be until the next reunion. :(

The best part of the weekend was meeting my NEWEST awesome cousin, Audie. She is completely stunning and talented and sweet and kind and loves my cousin so incredibly much. And my cousin is one of the kindest men I’ve ever met who happens to be really into photography and I’m determined to get them to come visit us and go to Walt Disney World sooner than later.

Audie and Joe met while in drum corps, Joe was the lead trumpet and Audrey spun flags all fancy-like in the guard. They kept in touch and yadda, yadda, yadda, 7 years later Joe surprised Audrey at Grand Central Station and asked her to marry him. <3 They held their wedding at the Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

This dress photo is one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken. Can you believe this was the view from Audrey’s room that morning?!

I may be mistaken on one of the “greats,” but I’m pretty sure this was Audrey’s great, great, great grandmother’s button hook. <3
