Lauren + Rob : Grand Floridian Ceremony and Epcot Reception
I LOVE the story behind Lauren and Rob’s proposal:
Before I even met Rob, my family’s favorite part of going to Disney World was walking from our favorite resort, Boardwalk, into Epcot and watching the fireworks show, Illuminations, from Italy. I remember standing on that bridge on a family trip in October 2016 thinking to myself that I couldn’t wait to one day share this spot with that special person. Little did I know, that in less than a year I’d be back there with that person and it immediately became a special spot for us too.
Lauren’s bridesmaids’ reaction to her wedding dress. <3
First look. <3
On to the America Adventure Rotunda for the reception! :)
Lauren and Rob, we can’t thank you enough for letting us be a part of your day!!! We’re so excited for what this year has in store for y’all! <3
Mollie + Adam : Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Wedding
Mollie first found us on Carly Morgan’s original wedding blog back in 2009(!!!!!)
She’s been a follower for a looooong time. Every now and then, a post will show up in my timeline that we shared 10+ years ago, only to see that Mollie commented on it! <3
Mollie and Adam met in 2017 on Bumble. She asked what his favorite Disney movie was and why, and they were together ever since. I love this quote from Mollie describing the proposal: “On our annual jaunt to WDW he proposed to me on the porch at Nomad Lounge while I was barefoot enjoying a good cocktail. He incorporated one of my favorite TV scenes (Boy Meets World when Eric ‘proposes’ to Topanga and pulls out a handkerchief to kneel on) and themed it all to the movie ‘UP.'”
They planned their wedding during Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot so there were flowers everywhere without having to supply them herself! They were married in the Italy Pavilion but in front of one of the shops; we’d never done a ceremony there and I *looooooved* the rich backdrop it provided!! Every detail from this wedding reflected something about Mollie and Adam. Her shoes were hand painted by a friend, showing one of their cats at Nomad Lounge where their proposal took place, and another cat at Epcot. Adam and his groomsmen each had a Lego mini fig in their boutonniere. Mollie’s bouquet had flowers made out of pages from a Harry Potter book and a hidden Lego Leia! <3
Two children who Mollie used to nanny were the flower girl and ring bearer- but that’s not all! Mollie’s dress she wore as a child at her first communion fit her flower girl perfectly, so that’s the dress she wore at the wedding!!
