WOW, how are we already almost 1/2 way through May?! I thought I’d post a reminder (since I almost forgot myself!) that today, May 13th, is the last day to submit your entry to our Portrait Giveaway! Carrie not only did some serious stationery shopping for me when she traveled to Tokyo recently, but she also surprised our Huckleberry Finn with some Tokyo Disneyland mouse ears! I can’t say he was thrilled with them, but WE sure were! :D Anyway… It’s about time our little Hucketeer makes his debut on the new blog! :)

Portrait Previews

As we get closer and closer to summer, Nathan and I are doing our best to squeeze in the rest of our portrait sessions before we break until the fall. :)

Anyway, here are some favorites from our most recent photo adventures:

Tricia and her gorgeous family from Nova Scotia… Tell me they don’t look like the poster family for the Boardwalk Resort! ;)

Meet Violet- The cutest baby that EVER lived. So… For the past year, just about, I’ve been completely content with waiting a long time to start a family. Just an hour with this little one, and all that went out the window! Just look at her! Did I mention she knows sign language? And Monday was her 1st birthday? *Swooooooon!*

Just a few hours later, we met up with the completely adorable Erin and Rick at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. :) I’m beyond excited for their wedding!

Well, that’s what our week was like. How was yours? :)

Portrait Session Giveaway

Have you been day dreaming about having a photo session with the Roots? Maybe you’ve been looking at a blank spot on the wall where you could be showing off fabulous photos of your family? Maybe you didn’t know about us when you got married and were left with less-than-beautiful wedding photos? (It happens!) Maybe you just want a head shot session for yourself? Maybe you’re just dying to see Nate climb a tree, or you wanna hear Jensey’s goofy way of making our brides laugh?

If you think you might fit in one of those categories, we wanna know! In celebration of our pretty new website and blog launching, we’re giving away a free portrait session* and image disc. (Valued at $700)

All you have to do is take a photo of you and whomever you want photographed and write a little something about why YOU should be in front of our cameras! :) We can’t wait to meet you!
