Taken from our trip to Disneyland a couple years ago… Can’t wait to go back. :)
Twenty-Eleven
I always love the feeling a fresh year brings. I love the clean slate, and the chance to start over and focus on self-improvement. Last year, I made huge changes on the way I live and how I spend my time. Every new year, I start off dreaming big for my resolutions, and then get disappointed in myself when I fall short. This year, I thought I’d keep my resolutions manageable. Whether I stick to all 11 or just 3 of these, my life will be changed for the better. :)
My top 11 resolutions for 2011 :
1. Date nights with Nate once a week.
2. Eat more fruits and veggies & move more!
3. Cut our debt in half!
4. Spend more time with people who build me up, not knock me down.
5. Baby-sit for friends with kids so they can have a night out.
6. Perform random acts of kindness each month.
7. Blog at least four times every week.
8. Go to bed by midnight each night and make and stick to office hours.
9. Spend the year making sure the people I love know I love them.
10. Have our work featured in three magazines and on five blogs.
11. Dream big for the business… Once a month “board meetings” to keep ourselves on track.
Do you have any big resolutions for 2011? And because it’s not a post unless I share a photo, here’s another one of Huck in snow. :)

Can you believe this is our 151st blog entry to be published since our launch in May? Crazyness! Anyway, come revisit some of our most favorite memories from the year. Thank you to everyone who made this year a true success for us, especially to our amazing couples who trusted us with their memories. :)
Our favorite family session, ever: April, Josh, and Huxley in New Orleans. :)
It was kind of like the big season finale. But in Africa. And not really a finale.
We always love our couples, but we love them extra when they provide such incredible opportunities!
Again, we love our couples, but things get mushy when they run with crazy ideas.
Nick introduced us. Nate was in the wedding. I shot the day alone. It was crazy!
Two hours for photos of just the bride and groom? In San Francisco? Yes, please!
Wishing you the happiest New Year yet. Here’s to another magical year of good photos and great people. :)
