In honor of our amazing family Thanksgiving with our favorites. :)
Kim + Mike : Preview
It’s hard to believe while in the peak of wedding season that we only have three more weddings to go before we close out 2011! Our crazy schedule continues, but I’m ready to attack it full-force, complete with Christmas cards addressed, every single present bought and wrapped (ok, so maybe I have one left…), and Huck by my side to ward off evil spirits. Or something like that. :) Either way, I’m pumped for the most wonderful time of the year! Winter is extra special to me, because it’s the season that brought me the love of my life, an engagement ring, and a wedding anniversary!
Anyway, onto the wedding preview! Kim and Mike’s wedding was unlike any we’d ever shot before- Their reception was held at the Brevard Zoo! It was downright cool, and it was one of the most unique venues we’ve ever photographed. I mean, seriously:
Their wedding guests (and us, too!) were given an hour before the cocktail hour to wander the zoo. I think Huck and this little guy would make great friends!
Kim and Mike, have a wonderful honeymoon! :)
Casi + Ian : Wedding Part II
Continued from Casi and Ian’s Wedding Part I.
I know I spoke about this when I posted Casi and Ian’s wedding preview a couple months ago, but photographing their wedding really made me remember the weight of our job and fall in love with this gift we have all over again!
As long as I knew Casi, she was determined to walk down the aisle to “Pretty Woman,” but instead of, “Pretty woman, walking down the street,” she wanted someone to have a mic and dub over with “aisle.” She instead walked down to the sweetest song, “Darling I Do.”
I love Casi’s parents and how good they are to each other. They have four gorgeous daughters, and Casi, the oldest, is their first to get married. I can’t wait to shoot the next three Bailey weddings! ;)
I LOVE THESE GIRLS! Casi, her gorgeous sisters, and her incredibly sweet momma who treated us like rock stars all weekend!
Casi and Ian opted to have a private first dance, where they shared a moment alone and their guests watched from inside the reception hall. Casi’s parents, however, had VIP seats to the cuteness!
What their guests saw:
All of their details were so perfect for an autumn wedding.
The other thing Casi always wanted to do at her wedding was pick up the entire wedding cake and smash it on her husband’s face, then wheel out the “real” cake afterward. While that didn’t happen, either, she did give Ian a darn good cake smash!
Each table at the reception had one of these groundhogs on it, because Ian proposed on Groundhog’s Day. :) And yes, I totally stole one!
Casi’s friend Heidi was the cutest, most bubbly women I’ve ever met! I’m so happy Casi has a Heidi in her life. :)
Acting out where we worked, Fantasyland attractions : The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Mad Tea Party, and Snow White’s Scary Adventures. ;)
Casi, I love you to the moon and back. Phone date tonight? :)
