meet cute (plural meet cutes) (narratology, informal) A situation in a film, television series, etc., in which a potential romantic couple meet for the first time in a way that is considered adorable, amusing, or cute.
How about this one? He was a knight, she was a server (a “wench”) at Toronto Castle Medieval Times.
“Contrary to what most people assume, the whole Knight thing was never part of the attraction because I did not officially meet him until March 2022, and at that point I thought he was a Stable hand or Squire… or the poop guy.”
Taylor was in the changing room one night when she heard a man singing a number from Phantom of the Opera and went to investigate. No one was there, but her curiosity peaked. A week later, the same thing happened, and she finds Matthew happily trotting around and singing to himself on his way to go backstage. Matthew blushed and introduced himself. A few days later, she sent a video of Phantom to that cute guy at work who might appreciate it. The texting began, fireworks sparked, and a week later they met up in person to go to a zoo, and the rest is history!
The whole story reminds me of how Buddy and Jovie met on Elf and I’m obsessed. *Almost* as obsessed as I am with their photos!!
This was one of Nate’s solo weddings and our second shooter Angelika helped out for two hours. The photos are some of my allllll time favorites. Thank you to Stacie Otto Hair and Makeup for constantly making our couples glow, and to our friends the Longshores for being dream partners documenting this day. If you’re still looking for a dream team to film your day, go check out Kayla and Michael at Live Free Stories!
Nothing like waking up on your wedding day overlooking an African Savannah! Animal Kingdom Lodge for the win! <3
Having Stacie Otto do your hair and makeup is like hiring your best friend or sister. By the time we arrive to document your morning, you’ve spent two hours with her and are relaxed and ready to take on the day!!
Matthew had never been to Disney, and Taylor hadn’t visited in over 12 years!! <3
Setting up the shot…
