Suzannah and Scott… I don’t even know where to begin with these two. <3
If you are a Disney fan, there’s a good chance you’ve stumbled across Suzannah’s incredible blog, Zannaland! And if you’re not already familiar, you should check it out, she’s a great writer!
There are some couples you meet and they just sort of immediately stay in your heart, and these guys are one of those couples for me. After being friends through Disney for a few years, they separately started going thru incredibly stressful times in their lives. It was leaning on each other that got them through that sparked their relationship to turn into something more. After a proposal at the top of Sentinel Dome in Yosemite, they started planning their wedding and I’m still so flattered they reached out to us!
There are couples who love each other and couples who loooooove each other. While getting ready in the morning, every time Suzannah mentioned Scott’s name there was a smile on her face, and Scott barely took his eyes off his bride all night. I love when couples are just plain smitten with each other, it makes our job so easy! <3
Their wedding was at the Dr. Phillips House of Lake Lucerne. :)
Best getting ready room ever!!!
See that look? Smit-ten. <3
I so love this beautiful family!!
And I’m more than a little in love with that little stud on the right, Gio. <3
Suzannah’s oldest son walked her down the aisle. <3
Gio danced in this gazebo allllllll night. “Let the wild rumpus start!”
Suzannah and Scott, we’re thrilled to have you as part of the Root Photography family!! We hope to see you again soon! :)
Suzannah says
I just wanted to thank you both again for making our day so magical, and capturing that magic. I know it’s cliche and there really just aren’t the proper words to express how kind and sweet and wonderful you all were (and are) and how happy we are with the photos. I want to get married again every year just to get more amazing photos from you guys! ;)
Thank you again for being such an important part of our story! <3
