The weather this month has been pretty nuts. Every wedding day has had at least a shower or two and our sessions are constantly being rescheduled.
Brier and Brad’s wedding was no different. It was raining on our way in, but luckily stopped in time for their pre-ceremony portraits! By the time their dessert party came though, it was poooooouring. Like, Illuminations being delayed ~40 minutes bad! But lucky for us, these guys were just happy to be hanging out with their family and friends. No one complained that they were standing around in ponchos for an unknown amount of time. And Illuminations still happened. <3
This wedding came at a perfect time for us, because we were surrounded by people encouraging us about our adoption! Brier’s parents actually adopted her brothers from different countries. While we were waiting for Illuminations, the sweetest guest came up, gave me a huge hug, and told me about being adopted herself! This whole adoption has been wonderful, but we definitely have days where we’re feeling a little more scared and lonely. This was one of those days, and my faith cup just filled right back up. :)
If you’re not having this much fun on your wedding day, you’re doing it wrong! ;)
Beautiful Brier. <3
I love when Nate makes friends through his camera before wedding ceremonies!! :)
Brier’s parents have always been big Disney fans. So much so that they named their only daughter after Briar Rose! I love love love love love that she walked down the aisle to “Once Upon a Dream” from Sleeping Beauty! <3
Brier and Brad’s kids napped in their strollers during the ceremony. I love that they were greeted by the boys as soon as they did their recessional! :)
Favorite. I mean, really. <3
That hair!!!! <3
Yep. Still giddy around this guy! <3
Brier and Brad, thank you for everything. <3
