Kayla + Jack + Bean : Disney Polynesian Resort Family Session

It’s hard to believe it’s been two and a half years since Jenn and Bob’s snowy wedding in New Hope.

Nate met up with them this month for their annual family photos, and totally kicked butt. I was so jealous of how much fun he had while I edited their session! And Bean is getting sooooo big!!! And Kayla is practially a grown up! And Jenn looked like a model! And Nate said Bean kept trying to crawl into his lap while shooting! Swooooooon! <3

Jenn, Bob, Kayla, Jack, and baby Bean, I seriously can’t wait for next year. :)

Liam + Maddie : Grand Floridian Family Session

There are a million reasons I wasn’t thrilled to spend a week in the hospital this month, but one of the biggest was not being able to shoot with Nate for a handful of sessions (and two weddings, boo!)

But he totally stepped up to the plate and I’m so proud of what he did without me… If the situation was reversed, I’d cry! One of the sessions I was heartbroken to miss was Liam and Maddie’s. This is our gagillionth session with this family- Ok, maybe just the 6th or 7th, but these “Root Lifers” have such a special place in our hearts… I’ve gotten to see Liam grow! The photo on the left was from our first shoot with him, the one on the right was last year’s…

… And now he’s sooooo grown up! I can’t stand it.

Lindsay, Eric, Maddie, and Liam, I’ll be there next year with bells on!!!

Ellie + John Thomas : Downtown Winter Garden Family Portrait Session

Lately I’ve been in a state of constant shock how quickly time is flying by. I’ve been getting all sappy about our nephews growing so quickly, and Ellie and John Thomas’s photo shoot was no different.

Look at all the stages of Ellie we’ve been able to capture!

John Thomas, or “JT” as he prefers to be called now (*gulp!*) was the first baby we ever photographed! He was just 9 months old on our first session, so all I have to do is look at him to have a physical reminder of how long we’ve been photographers.

We photographed John Thomas’s sessions before we even had a blog, but I did manage to track this one down!!

We love this family so, so much and it’s been so special to watch these two grow. We’ve done their sessions in Celebration and their family nursery, so this time, we shot around downtown Winter Garden. :)

We usually just photograph the kids, but Misty realized they haven’t had a family portrait of them since Ellie was born. Nate and I were more than happy to fix that! <3
