The E Family : Florida Botanical Gardens Family Session

Another season, another shoot with the E family. <3 Time is going WAY too quickly, and I see it mostly in photos of this family! Their son is only a few months older than Ollie, so I’m constantly editing photos from Nate’s shoot with them and peeking into what the next season of *our* lives will look like. CRAWLING. I’m not ready, y’all!!!

After a few shoots in their home, Nate shot this one at the Florida Botanical Gardens. I love how his photos turned out, and that it’s a true Florida winter shoot.

The W Family : Holiday Family Vacation Photos in Orlando, Florida

Despite every effort to get this session posted in December, it turns out working full time and mom-ing full time is a little more time consuming than I prepared myself for, but now we’re finally in our slow month! Yay!! Which means I have time to catch up on the blog while Olliebug sleeps!

While we didn’t shoot their wedding, Jessica and Steven are honorary #RootLifers because we’ve shot their best friends’ weddings and TWO sessions with them now! This was our first time to meet Miss Evelyn!

Nate has taken over our portrait sessions so I have extra time with Oliver, but sometimes they line up well with his nap schedule, and it gives me a chance to have a mini mother/son date with him! So while Nate shot these guys, I walked around with Oliver and practiced his sitting and we got to say hello to these guys while we were there!

But I’m in looooooooooove with the photos Nate shot. I mean, just look at this face for a minute, will you?!

Jane + David : Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation Wedding Reception

Continued from Jane and David’s wedding part one here! :)

We left King’s Chapel and were greeted with a stunning reception hall all set and ready to go by Jane’s planner, Sarah of Without a Hitch. If you live in the Boston area, Sarah was an absolute delight to work with and everything went off, well… Without a hitch! ;)

They had a wedding CHEESE CAKE!

Jane saw my face light up when I realized their guests were each served their own Funfetti cake, and she insisted I have a bite of hers. Before I could say no, it was in my mouth!!
