I’ll never forget the first time I tried pitching a “first look” to a couple. The look our bride gave me was as if I’d suggested  she cover her dress in spray paint before walking down the aisle. I couldn’t blame her, though- 10 years ago, few had heard of such a thing and our brides were convinced their marriages would be doomed if they even entertained the idea!

Today, more weddings than not include this special moment. I still enjoy our little “First Look on the 1st” posts every month, but I thought this month we’d revisit our very first feature that goes a little more in-depth for our new couples. Jessie and Mason joined our small but elite group of couples who got ready together! This was one of my favorite things about my own wedding day, and our pals Lisa and Jeffrey did the same. It’s not always a good fit for a wedding day, but oh how I swoon at these photos of Mason lacing up Jessie’s dress! <3
