Meghan + Dave : Boardwalk Inn Engagement Session

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you’ve seen Meghan before when she was the maid-of-honor in her best friend Liz’s wedding (which you can read about in part one here and part two here!) And if you received a 2014 holiday card from us, well, you’re already familiar with Dave’s incredible work- He and Meghan sent what we’ve dubbed the “Snow Huck” piece to us for Christmas in 2013 and I knew it’d make the perfect holiday card but was a little shy to ask.

When we decided to have Huck’s eye removed a few months ago, I wrote and asked if he could make the left eye wink, and the rest is history! We received the best feedback for our card and all the credit goes to these two! <3

Meghan and Dave got engaged last year and I was crossing fingers and toes that she’d write us and she DID! We photographed them around Disney’s Boardwalk Inn for their engagement session where they couldn’t have dressed better. My favorite things were Dave’s subtle R2D2 bow tie, and of course, this adorable parasol, a nod to my favorite character from one of our favorite shows- Firefly! <3

Meghan and Dave, to say we had a blast is an understatement- Thank you for picking us!! Next May can’t come soon enough! <3

Jennifer + Frankie : Boardwalk Inn Engagement Session

It all started when my mom was having a problem with her Capitol One card and asked to speak to a supervisor. Enter Jennifer, who after finding out my Mom lives in Orlando and works for Disney, excitedly told her she was planning a Disney wedding! Mom has always been our biggest cheerleader, so she immediately asked if Jennifer had a wedding photographer yet and gave her our info. :)

While we won’t be photographing Jennifer and Frankie’s wedding day, we were able to meet up for some engagement photos around Disney’s Boardwalk Inn! (Thanks, Mom!)

Dayna + Peter : Disney Boardwalk Inn Resort Engagement Session

Happy New Year, friends!!!! I know I probably shouldn’t be saying that this late in the month, but the Christmas tree behind me says otherwise! ;)

The last few weeks of 2014 were a bit challenging for us to say the least- Between a bout of food poisoning, a lovely plumbing backup in our apartment bathroom, learning that I’m allergic to Christmas trees, and a sinus infection we just can’t defeat, I was anxious for 2015 to get here already. Things are already looking up for us this year- Only one more month until our new home is finished and we’re looking forward to some visits from friends and family in the coming weeks. I hope your new year is looking up, too! :)

Dayna and Peter were one of our first sessions of 2015! These adorable faces come from Vancouver, and even though our first session was rained out, we were able to make some pretty photos together a few days later!
