I still can’t believe December even started, let alone is nearly finished! This has been the most wonderfully hectic month of my life between our crazy travel schedule and early adventures in home ownership.

Nate and I kicked off the month with a destination extravaganza on an island in the Bahamas. Everything from the hundreds of depression glass to, well, their photographers, were flown in for this amazing event. Luckily, Lisa Stoner of E-Events was there to orchestrate the four day love fest! We were honored to be a part of it and I’m so looking forward to editing this one. :)

About a month ago, I tweeted : All I want for Christmas is a home. There, I said it.

Well… Christmas came early. :) After almost 4 grueling months of the rollercoaster ride of being approved/ denied/ possibly approved again, we finally got the green light from our lender and 24 hours later, were signing papers with a notary in Orlando (at my Mom’s house, to be exact!). The whole ordeal has been so surreal, and I don’t think it’s sunk in yet that this is OUR HOME and we’re officially Nashville residents. I’ve moved 11 times in the past 9 years, so I’m ready to put down “roots” and stick around for a loooooooong time!

This whole month has been such a whirlwind, and I’m honestly looking forward to unpacking the office and getting back to a normal work schedule after the holidays. I do apologize for the lack of blog updates, but we’ll be back on track soon, promise! Until then, Happy Christmas and Merry Hannukah to all our pals out there!
