The many adventures of a cute husband and wife photography team!
Reason #5987 why I love my husband. <3
The morning after photographing Larisa and Eric’s anniversary session in downtown Philly, it was off to Newtown, Pennsylvania for Larisa’s family session! We were supposed to start the session at this really cute college campus, but we ended up being kicked out by campus security for not having a photo permit. Sad story! Lucky for us, Newtown is so cute we were able to immediately find two great back up locations within a two minute drive. :)
I’ll admit I was actually nervous about shooting this session- Every other family session we’ve done has been with kids, not all adults! I was worried about the posing feeling forced and awkward, but I’m really really proud at how these turned out. Of course, we lucked out with Larisa’s family being totally happy, easy going, and trusting of our style having worked with us on Larisa’s wedding day!
I love how sweet her parents are with each other. :)
Seriously- Downtown Newtown is adorable.
Cute siblings. :)
Thank you guys sooooo much for being amazing! Larisa, we hope to see you and Eric again next year! ;)

Larisa and Eric’s Wedding Part I
by Jensey 8 Comments
It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since Larisa and Eric’s wedding day! When Larisa contacted us about coming up to Philadelphia for a family session with her sweet parents and an anniversary session with Eric, I was over the moon! I wish these happened more often- Such a fun way to keep up with our couples and oh, what a difference a year makes! We had fun catching up about our respective moves (them to FL, us to TN), new homes, and of course, our adorable pups!
This session was such a reminder to ME that it’s time for Nate and I to book a session for ourselves! This December marks 5 years of wedded bliss for us, and I want to capture our life now– In the midst of the madness and before kiddos. :) It’s always easy to find a million excuses to put it off- mainly because of my own body issues, but every year I regret not doing it, and I kinda want to get in the habit before we have a family, because those are years I definitely don’t want to miss!
It kinda makes me want to promote anniversary mini sessions for our past couples… Any takers? ;)
I absolutely loved downtown Philly!
I should have watched Rocky before I visited, though. Next time!
You guys are gorgeous.
Cute shoes meant sore feet for Larisa, but she was a total trooper- and there’s nothing wrong with ending a shoot with a piggy back ride! Come back tomorrow for Larisa’s family session! :)
