Jessie + Nicholas : Anniversary

September 5, 2012 by Jensey 9 Comments

Long time readers should remember Nick, as Nate and I met at his birthday party 8.5 years ago. He’s been family to us from the beginning, and we’ve loved seeing him meet the girl of his dreams, get married, and now… Become a father.

I get all teary when I think about it, so I’ll leave the lovey dovey stuff for when I write their “real” blog post later. But today is Nick and his beautiful Jessie’s 3rd wedding anniversary, and I wanted to let them know we love the heck out of them.

Last month, we finally got to take a trip to meet their baby boy for the first time, and let me just say, he already has me wrapped around his tiny little finger! I’m beyond honored to be “Aunt Jensey” to Hall, the cutest baby alive. <3 I foresee many, many more detours to Jacksonville in the coming years!

Jessie is an amazing momma, and I love that Hall totally knows how lucky he is!

Jessie, Nick, and Hall- I love you three to infinity and beyond. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! <3

Pretty up your day with more Jessie and Nick blog love!

Yes, you!

I genuinely want to know- If you’re reading this, who are you? Have we met? How did you find us? Are you a bride (past or future) or just a lover of weddings? Or Disney? Or Huck? Maybe you’re a photographer? Tell me about you! :)

Kelley + Tom : Engagement

September 3, 2012 by Jensey 3 Comments

Our trip to Philadelphia for Larisa and Eric’s sessions marked our first of five(!!!!!!!!!!!!!) trips to Pennsylvania in the next year. I don’t know why the increase in couples up there, but I’m totally fine with it! I learned on this trip that from now on when we travel to a new place, I need to look at a darn map- I had no idea how many big cities are clustered together there! I posted a photo on Instagram (my username is jenseylove!) that we were about to start a session in downtown Philly when a dear friend of mine emailed me, totally hurt I didn’t tell her I was in town. “But, Stef, you’re in New Jersey!” Yeah- She was a 15 minute drive away!

Kelley and Tom are getting married at the Biltmore next March (eeeeeee!) and lucky for us, we were able to fit an engagement session with them while we were in their hometown for Larisa and Eric’s anniversary session. So many of our couples live outside of Florida, where most of our weddings take place, and I love being able to photograph them in their hometown! We had fun exploring with these two, whose session was full of getting to know you time and me learning a ton about hairless cats. Yes- hairless cats. They have one and Tom’s mom shows them. This is why I love our couples! :)

I love how photogenic this city is. :)

Favorite!!!!! Kelley and Tom, we’ll see you guys next year! :)

More Philly Sessions! :)
