Mindy and Tim’s reception was at the Grand Californian Hotel, where we’d photographed Victoria and Brian’s wedding the year prior. Tim and Mindy held their cocktail hour at my favorite Disneyland wedding venue- Brisa Courtyard, where the monorails pass overhead. <3

Tim and Mindy’s tables at the reception were named after their favorite television shows as a couple. Tim is actually a writer for one of our favorite shows, so that bumps their cool points as a couple to #1. :)

Mindy + Tim : Disneyland Hotel Wedding

Mindy and Tim’s wedding was our first-ever at the Disneyland Hotel and we were super excited to work with the Disneyland wedding team again. Mindy had the most amazing room to get ready in, and I love that she was able to overlook the Rose Court Garden where her ceremony would be in just a few hours.

The story of how Mindy found her wedding dress is one of my favorites- She spotted it in the window of a local thrift shop and bought it for a whopping $15! Mindy had a seamstress put in the corset back, shorten the skirt, add some tulle, and voila! Her dream dress. :)

Hair and make-up ran pretty late, so I felt awful rushing Mindy through what should have been the most relaxing part of the day- portrait time! This is one of my favorite photos from the day- Mindy decided she wanted to reverse the typical first look so Tim walked up to her and not the other way around. I love the flowers all around her!

Mindy + Tim : Naples Ristorante Rehearsal Dinner

Today we continue with Mindy and Tim’s wedding week here on the blog!

Their rehearsal dinner was held at Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney. They had their own outside patio upstairs and everything was just perfect, especially the lighting. :) It’s such a rarity that we photograph rehearsal dinners, but I thought I’d share a few favorite moments from the evening:

Mindy + Tim : California Adventure Engagement Session

Ever since Victoria and Brian’s wedding, I’d been itching to do another Disneyland wedding! I couldn’t have been more excited when Mindy from Budget Fairy Tale brought us out to photograph hers. We photographed their engagement session around Disney’s California Adventure Park, a first for us!

We loved finding hidden nooks and crannies!

We loved shooting in this park, but now I’m dying to do a session around Cars Land!

My second favorite. :)

Nate and I were able to play in the park once our shoot was finished, so I took full advantage of the situation and shot in mouse ears. :x
